Meet Nadia Williams

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nadia Williams. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Nadia , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

When people see confidence, they often think it’s something you’re born with. But for me, it was something I had to build from the ground up. I didn’t always carry myself with strength or certainty. For a long time, I lived in a space of deep insecurity, constantly talking down to myself, doubting my worth, and allowing the things people did or said easily offend me and ultimately define how I saw myself.

My turning point came when I realized that no one was coming to save me from that mindset, that I had to take ownership of how I spoke to myself. I went from saying, “I’m not good enough,” to intentionally speaking life over my reflection. I started viewing myself through the lens of how God sees me, worthy, capable, and chosen. That single decision shifted everything.

From there, I began to face my insecurities one by one. I held myself accountable where I needed to, forgave myself for the moments I fell short, and released the narratives and environments that no longer fit into my personal evolution of self. It was through this process of honesty and grace that my confidence began to grow, and with it, my self-esteem.

I learned that low self-esteem keeps you trapped in lower vibrations and limited levels of consciousness, while high self-esteem elevates you into alignment and awareness. It builds a kind of inner strength that can’t easily be shaken.

At the end of the day, you’re the only one holding yourself down and untimely the decision lies within self to initiate shifts. You start to see the weight that other people are carrying based on the words they speak or the way they act. You begin to recognize that so many people are hurting beneath their defenses. That level of discernment doesn’t come from judgment, it comes from healing.

Now, I stand firmly in who I am. My confidence and self-esteem aren’t rooted in appearances or validation, they come from doing the inner work and allowing my spirit to grow stronger through every challenge. I can identify when someone else is struggling with low self-worth because I’ve walked that path. And I use my journey as a reminder that confidence isn’t about perfection, it’s about transformation, forgiveness, and speaking to yourself with love until your spirit believes it.

“True confidence is when you no longer wait for others to see your light, you know it’s there, and you let it shine regardless.”

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m a multi-hyphenate creative, exploring and excelling across multiple talents including creative direction, choreography, professional dance, modeling, singing, acting, and overall performance. What excites me most about what I do is the opportunity to truly access a part of myself that I’ve always felt as a child, the part that dreams big, creates fearlessly, and evolves continuously. My main priority is reaching the highest heights of my craft, building my brand, and creating a lasting legacy. I aim for my creative work to resonate not only with audiences but also with fellow creators, opening doors to life changing collaborations and opportunities that push both me and the community forward.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, three qualities that shaped my journey the most are resilience, versatility, and vision. Resilience came from learning to push through setbacks and disappointments, even when doors closed or things didn’t go as planned, I realized that those moments were really shaping me for bigger opportunities. Versatility grew from exploring everything I could, dance, modeling, acting, singing, and creative direction. I never wanted to limit myself to just one lane and it allowed me to discover parts of myself I didn’t even know existed. Vision has been my guiding star, reminding me to stay aligned with what I truly want to create, a legacy that reflects my authentic self and inspires others to step into their own creativity.

For anyone starting out, I’d say lean into every opportunity to grow, even the uncomfortable ones. Try new skills, stretch yourself, and don’t be afraid to fail, every experience teaches you something. Build resilience by trusting your journey, expand your versatility by exploring your passions, and hold tight to your vision, it will carry you further than you can imagine.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

The book that has played the most important role in my development is: One Word That Will Change Your Life, Expanded Edition by Jon Gordon, Dan Britton, and Jimmy Page. I came across it in 2021 while working a corporate job. A cubicle filled office post COVID that left me feeling completely out of alignment. At the time, I was grateful for a paycheck, living alone, and barely keeping up with rent, but deep down, I knew this wasn’t the life I wanted.

The book came as part of a welcome packet from the company, and I didn’t even read far before one word stopped me in my tracks: FREEDOM. That word stuck with me like glue. I realized then that what I was doing, trying to fit into an environment that wasn’t meant for me was holding me back from living the life I was created to live.

One Word That Will Change Your Life taught me that changing your mindset changes your life. It showed me that a single word can act as a compass, guiding you through doubt, discouragement, and division. My word, FREEDOM, became my anchor. It pushed me to reflect inwardly, recognize what was making me unhappy, and take decisive action to change my life from the inside out. It challenged me to gut my old patterns, allowing my old life to burn around me while I walk through the fire untouched. The book encouraged me to trust God, and step boldly into the creative purpose I was meant to fulfill.

The most impactful lesson from this book is simple but profound. One word can give you laser focus, clarity, and the courage to live your truth. For me, FREEDOM became more than a word, it became the foundation for my growth, my creative expression, and my pursuit of a life fully aligned with my purpose.
