Meet Nadine Abou Zahr

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nadine Abou Zahr. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Nadine , so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?

I think that optimism comes from a deep belief that even in the toughest times, there’s always something to learn or a way forward. It’s mainly fueled by hope, the support of others, and the resilience to keep moving, even when the path isn’t clear.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Being a life coach for women allows me to help others break through their limitations and unlock their true potential. Witnessing a woman step into her power, embrace her worth, and transform her life is incredibly fulfilling. As an author, I now also have the platform to amplify these messages, hopefully offering comfort, clarity, and a sense of belonging to a wider audience. My aspiration at the intersection of coaching and writing, is to help women rewrite their stories—on their own terms.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I would say: clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. Clarity lights the path forward, helping you stay focused on your purpose as you take those first steps. Resilience gives you the strength to rise after setbacks, knowing that challenges are part of the growth process. And self-compassion ensures you treat yourself with patience and grace, especially when the road gets tough. I think that together, these qualities create a powerful foundation for whatever journey you are embarking on.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

So many… The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger has always been one of my favorite books because it speaks to the struggles of feeling lost and searching for meaning, something that resonates deeply at any stage of life. Holden Caulfield’s raw vulnerability and his yearning for authenticity in a world that often feels shallow echo the feelings many of us have as we navigate life’s complexities. What I love most is how the book captures the pain and beauty of trying to hold onto something real, even when everything around you seems to be slipping away. Its emotional depth and timeless themes continue to remind me of the importance of staying true to who we are, no matter where we are on our journey.
