Meet Nancy Bruce

We recently connected with Nancy Bruce and have shared our conversation below.

Nancy, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found true love in my 50s – after two decades of dating after divorce – and the transformative power of it changed everything. I realized I wanted to share my stories and what I learned with as many people as I could. My message is that you are not too old, and it is never too late to find the love of your life.

I believe that purpose comes from understanding how you want to be of service. I launched my brand, Finding Love, to help people in midlife find connection, romance, and lasting love. It gives me so much happiness to encourage them to not give up until they get the love they want and deserve.

As a brand strategy coach for many years, I have helped small business owners and entrepreneurs tell their stories, find their audience, and build their brands. I know first-hand that creating anything new in your life, whether it’s a business, a creative project, or true love, takes three things: a clear and focused Mindset, an intentional and sustainable Plan, and deliberate, mindful Action.

I created Finding Love to have this conversation with everyone interested in hearing it. I help my clients and podcast listeners gain not only the confidence, but the strategy to light up their love story. As they embark on their dating in midlife journey, I help them shed self-doubt and worry, and instead, lead with joy.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Finding Love helps people in midlife manifest the love they deserve. For me, falling in love in my 50s has been a dream come true, but it didn’t just happen overnight. For 20 years it seemed wherever I looked, everyone else had the things I wanted. Love. Marriage. Partnership. Romance. Why did it elude me? What didn’t I know?

I worked with dating coaches, love therapists, and intuitive healers, trying to uncover the secrets to finding the kind of connection and relationship that I wanted. I learned how to date with enthusiasm and hope. How to get clear about what I wanted to draw into my life, and what to avoid. How to tell my own love story with clarity so that it could find me.

I believe that when you want to create something new in your life, it starts with YOU. My tried-and-true approach to Finding Love in midlife centers around the 5 Pillars to Finding Love: Vibrance, Romance, Creativity, Discovery, and Community.

The first-ever Love Camp Retreat is happening this Spring, April 23 – 26 in Whitefish, Montana, and it’s for women ready to embrace their vibrance, ignite their creativity, and open their romantic hearts to new possibilities. Love Camp is a chance to polish up your hidden gems and attract the love you truly deserve. Hosted at the stunning Dancing Spirit Ranch, this rustic-chic retreat is going to be a gathering of women looking for meaningful and deeper connections. Women who get it, just like you.

As the host of the Finding Love Podcast, I spark the conversation around dating and looking for love in midlife. You are not too old, and it is never too late to find the love of your life, but looking for it can feel overwhelming and confusing. You are not alone.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Creating something new in your life is something everyone talks about but not everyone masters, for one simple reason: it requires consistent and persistent effort. Too many people give up before reaching their goals. The qualities that have helped me launch businesses and find love are determination, clarity, and optimism.

Determination means that every day, you take thoughtful and deliberate action in the direction of your dreams. You hold on to your vision for your future and let nothing stand in your way.

Clarity is about knowing who you are, what you want, and why it matters to you. The “why” is your fuel, and it will keep you going even during times of self-doubt.

For me, optimism is the most important ingredient in the equation of manifesting what you want in life. You must believe. If you don’t believe in your dreams, who will?

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

It’s so important to invest in what matters to your personal growth. In the past 12 months, I have invested in my health and fitness. I’m lifting weights, walking, and focusing on nutrition, hydration, and sleep. This aligns with the first of my 5 Pillars to Finding Love: Vibrance. Feeling your absolute best – full of energy and vitality – will set you up for success in all aspects of life.

If you are an entrepreneur or small business owner, or even if you are simply trying to create something new in your life, your physical and mental health are your two greatest assets. Prioritizing self-care not only improves my stamina and clarity – it helps me radiate confidence. I love knowing that I have what it takes to show up and do the work that matters to me. At this stage of my life, it seems like everything is just beginning.
