Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Natalia with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
My mom. Ever since i can remember, my mom has been one of the most inspiring and hard working women. No matter what life threw at her she always stayed positive, worked hard and never let any obstacles get in her way. I have vivid memories of her waking up at 4 am to do school work, then shed get ready to go to work, and attend classes at night. All this while raising me and my two little sisters. She worked hard for us to have a better life. I’ve always admired her tenacity and dedication.

I am an aesthetic nurse practitioner. My job is to help my patients feel confident about themselves. It is so rewarding to me to be able to help other feel good about the way they look. My patients mean the world to me. I do not take their trust for granted. Being an aesthetic injector in LA means that my patient has chosen me as their medical provider to help them reach their aesthetic goals. They place their trust and spend their hard earned money at my practice. I pride myself with the best aesthetic service and outcomes for my patients. My drive and inspiration are my patients; their trust and loyalty inspires be a better practitioner
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Always work hard, never give up and always say yes to any opportunity. Getting into the aesthetic industry is very difficult. My advice to any nurse, NP, or PA wanting to get into this industry is to invest in yourself. Take as many trainings and courses as possible. This basic understanding of aesthetics will open many doors.This will demonstrate that you are proactive and invested in the industry. It’s been 8 years since i started my career in aesthetics and I continue to invest in myself, education is crucial to being the best injector possible.
Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
I don’t usually feel very overwhelmed but when I do, I like to take a step back and tackle one thing at a time. This helps me think better and take the best course of action for the task at hand. The other thing is try not to obsess about things i do not have control of. There is only so much you can do in certain situations, I must learn from my mistakes and grow from them.
