Meet Natalie Jackowski

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Natalie Jackowski. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Natalie below.

Natalie, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.
Instead of focusing on shortcomings, as a visionary and entrepreneur you need to know what it is you do really well and keep doing those things. Slowly chip away at your weaknesses and improve them over time.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Nearly a decade ago, I founded my first company, Natalie Helen Consulting, Inc. It is still in operation today. We focus on technology consulting and advising of venture-backed start ups and organizations. I absolutely love working with founders growing their teams. Flash forward, I found myself expanding business into the wellness space and developed Natalie J Pilates which is a boutique, private pilates training studio. I work with people one-on-one.
Though the subject matter is different, having knowledge of the fundamentals of coaching and being in the business of people really helped me achieve my goal of a new branch of business.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think the ability to take a major risk was fundamental to my accomplishments. Additionally, both ventures required a huge amount of sacrifice of time and energy. Thirdly, is the focus of being really good at what I do, really making a value proposition that sells itself.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
You truly have to remember where you’ve come from and see how far you’ve come. Life can be unpredictable, sad and unfair sometimes. The best we can do is keep putting one foot in front of the other. Some days that is your best and that’s okay.
