Meet Natalie Sullivan

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Natalie Sullivan a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Natalie , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

Having a good sense of self esteem and confidence is most certainly a task for some and comes natural for others. However, for me it took continuous work. Implementing with reading about the inner self, counseling and positive self talk has significantly helped me remain confident. Also remembering to keep showing up for myself and treating myself with kindness.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

At this moment in my journey I’m very self focused on implementing things that only bring growth professionally and artistically within my passions. Right now my brand has launched it’s Ultimate Curl kit line! It’s now available online at sisterlyluvnatual.com and within our brick and mortar curl studio. This kit has a variety of products that are targeted for all curl patterns. We’re really excited to offer these products and we use them extensively on our amazing clients. Right now Thirsty for Moisture is available online at Wal-Mart!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three qualities, that were the most impactful in my journey is my resilience, continuous education and my dedication to personal development. These qualities helped my skills set and become better at what I do. Not only as a stylist but as a woman. I advise anyone who is in the early stages in their journey to never be afraid to evolve. Anything that’s present within you that’s keeping you from the life or people that you want all starts with you! Get a mentor and sit with others that have done or have what you want in life. Learn to be patient with yourself and go after what you want in life.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

The books that has played an important role in my development has been Rich Dad Poor Dad and The inner workings book.
The things that were most valuable for me within both books is that just a change of mind can unlock or remove mental strongholds that are imperative to your future. We are all just an over standing away to success.
