Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to NaTasha Ashton . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi NaTasha, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I got my work ethic from my mother. She worked hard and she was determined and disciplined to get what she wanted. It was hard, but she got it done!
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Hello everyone, I’m a professional graphic designer and design instructor. I’m the CEO& Owner of Ashton Creative Group LLC, Harvest Publishing Group, LLC and Harvest School of Ministry!
What I love most about what I do is impacting the lives of people and helping them discover their purpose!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I’d say focus on these things:
1. Integrity
2. Excellence
3. Focus and Discipline
These things are the foundation for success and achieve your goals! I made a statement in January and this statement sums up the above points. I said “ everything is tied to your level of discipline! Go after it but be disciplined!”
Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
My mom, she’s has been my rock, loving, encouraging and supportive, etc. Even though my struggles with my disability, my mom made it her mission to make sure I was prepared to succeed. My mom taught me daily on how to push through every obstacle. I miss my mom so much! I love her dearly!
Also, my baby boy. My husband and I are so blessed to be parents to our sweet little baby boy. Even through his disability he also teaches me daily to push through any obstacle. He has been diagnosed with autism and ADHD. He’s non verbal autistic and other challenges from his autism diagnosis.
