Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Natasha with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I inherited my work ethic from my mother Arlene Maria Cruickshank, the ultimate corporate woman, whose dedication, resilience, and professionalism have shaped my approach to success. Watching her navigate the corporate world with grace and determination taught me the value of discipline, perseverance, and integrity. She never cut corners, always led by example, and balanced ambition with compassion—proving that true leadership isn’t just about climbing the ladder but about lifting others along the way. Her ability to handle challenges with confidence and turn obstacles into opportunities has inspired me to approach my own career with the same level of commitment and excellence.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
As an HR Recruitment Director with 18 years of recruitment experience, having worked with local and international recruitment consultancies prior to launching my company Recruit Logix Agency Limited, the jouney to get here was challenging, but all dreams are possible through hard work and perseverance!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Hmm, this is a tough one but I’ll say in my early career in the recruitment field, learning and understanding how to align hiring strategies with business goals is definitely crucial!
Secondly the ability to collaborate with hiring managers, executives, and external partners is also a key factor. Building trust, influencing decision-making, and navigating different perspectives help drive hiring success at a leadership level.
Staying ahead with AI-driven recruitment tools, ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), makes hiring more efficient and definitely easier!
