Meet Natasha Nash

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Natasha Nash a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Natasha, so happy to have you with us today and there is so much we want to ask you about. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others developed certain skills or qualities that we are struggling with can be helpful. Along those lines, we’d love to hear from you about how you developed your ability to take risk?

My journey of faith has been a profound teacher in the art of taking risks. In my career, I faced numerous challenges that could have easily discouraged me from stepping outside my comfort zone. But my faith in God has been my anchor, guiding me through uncertainty and instilling in me the courage to take those leaps.

I learned early on that having faith means trusting in a higher plan, even when the path isn’t clear. The idea that if I take one step, God will take two has been a mantra in my life. It reminds me that I’m not alone in my endeavors.

I’m excited to share a bit about what I do at Londyn’s Studio Salon and Boutique. We are a full-service salon dedicated to celebrating and enhancing the beauty of all hair types. Whether you have natural hair, relaxed hair, locs, or love braided styles and weave extensions, our talented team is here to help you look and feel your best. We also offer eyelash extensions, adding that perfect finishing touch to your look.

What makes Londyn’s Studio truly special is our commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered. We believe that beauty goes beyond aesthetics; it’s about self-expression and confidence. Every service we provide is tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients, ensuring that you leave our salon not just looking fabulous but feeling amazing too.

In addition to our salon services, we have a boutique where you can find a curated selection of hair care products, wigs, and weave bundles to maintain your look at home. We also offer beautiful jewelry accessories that allow you to express your personal style further.

I’m thrilled to announce our new partnership with Nu Standard! We are now offering the Hydrasilk Hydrating Bond System, which is designed to nourish and protect your hair while enhancing its natural beauty. Additionally, we have introduced the Nu Standard wellness system, featuring Take and Go and Drink and Go vitamins. These products align with our vision of holistic beauty—ensuring that our clients not only look good but also feel good from the inside out.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back on my journey, the three qualities that have been most impactful for me are passion, determination, and commitment. Each of these qualities has played a crucial role in shaping my career and guiding me through various challenges and opportunities.

1. Passion: My love for the beauty industry and helping others feel confident in their appearance has always driven me. This passion fuels my creativity and keeps me motivated, even during tough times. For anyone starting their journey, I encourage you to identify what truly excites you. Engage in activities that light that fire within you, whether that’s experimenting with different techniques, exploring new trends, or connecting with clients. When you’re passionate about what you do, it becomes easier to overcome obstacles and push forward.

2. Determination: There have been countless moments when I faced setbacks, whether it was a challenging client situation, a slow season, or personal hurdles. What kept me going was my determination to succeed and grow. For those early in their journey, I recommend cultivating resilience. Embrace failures as learning experiences and remain focused on your goals. Setbacks are often stepping stones to success, so develop a mindset that views challenges as opportunities for growth.

3. Commitment: Commitment to my craft and my clients has been vital. This means being dedicated not only to providing excellent service but also to ongoing education and improvement. I’ve made it a point to stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and products. For those just starting out, I advise you to commit to lifelong learning. Attend workshops, take courses, and seek mentorship opportunities. The beauty industry is ever-evolving, and staying informed will set you apart.

In addition to these qualities, building a strong network in the industry can open doors and provide invaluable support.
