We recently connected with Nate House and have shared our conversation below.
Nate , we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?
My self care regimen usually consists of two things: a great workout and R&B music. The workout helps strengthen my body and mind, but the music is for the soul. Music, especially 90’s R&B, has such a magical effect in my opinion. It’s simply therapeutic.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m one half of a brand called “Never Not Workin” aka NNW: The Brand. We entered the fashion world November of 2021 and have been consistently pushing since. Our brand is dedicated to the entrepreneurs, the dreamers, and everyone who strives to give nonstop effort towards what they believe in. Our purpose is to motivate and empower the goal seekers.
As of recently, we released our spring collection with three color selections. There’s also our rendition on the 80s classic PAC-MAN that was released in March.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The main thing to have whenever starting your journey is the vision. Brainstorm. Put it on paper along with all of the ideas running through your head. No idea is a bad idea if it’s well thought out. Then you must have fearlessness. Everything is critiqued. You must be able to welcome all constructive criticism. There’s no harm in learning from your mistakes.
Last but definitely not least, consistency. Everyone loves a good origin story and love to watch your development. Show consistency and watch yourself and your business grow.
All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
Exposure. I’m currently learning how to properly gain exposure. There are many variables that comes with breaking into the fashion market, but I am patiently learning the art of marketing. Marketing is the engine to everything.
