Meet Nathan Johnson

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nathan Johnson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Nathan, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I grew up surrounded by entrepreneurs and creatives: all in my family. My grandfather started a family business that my dad still runs to this day, and both of them taught me the value of hard work and innovation. My grandfather used to say, “It’s easier to win,” meaning that when you commit yourself fully, it’s easier to work hard and stand out. He always challenged us to think outside the box and be creative, and my dad has carried that same mindset, constantly finding new ways to help others. I’ve learned to see every “problem” as an opportunity to grow and serve. As a Christian, I also believe that Jesus calls us to serve, and that shapes how I approach everything I do—I work first and foremost to honor and glorify God in all that I do.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

We are a full-service real estate media company with locations in Colorado and Tennessee, born from a simple vision—serve local realtors through engaging social media video.

What began as a creative way to help agents stand out on social has grown into a full scale media team offering photography, video, drone, 3D tours, and more. Every treat every interaction personally and love to get to know our clients.

Our vision has always been family first and maintaining a small, personal feel—our clients are never just an order number.
We take pride in delivering work that stands apart with next day delivery, and every shoot includes free floor plans and a custom property website to help our clients market their listings with impact.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back at how we started our real estate media company, three qualities that have been most impactful are persistence, determination, and honesty.

Persistence was essential—building a business from scratch meant facing lots of challenges, from tight schedules to fighting to win clients. The key was showing up consistently, even when things felt slow or uncertain. My advice to anyone starting out: don’t let early setbacks stop you. Keep learning, keep shooting, and keep working to build personal relationships. Momentum builds over time.

Determination kept us moving toward our vision. In real estate media, every client, every property, and every shoot is an opportunity to grow. For those early in their journey, set clear goals, break them into actionable steps, and celebrate the small wins along the way—it keeps the drive alive.

Honesty has been the backbone of our relationships—with clients, teammates, and ourselves. Being upfront about what we can deliver, taking feedback gracefully, and always striving to improve builds trust and credibility. For anyone starting out: be authentic, be transparent, and always keep integrity at the forefront…and don’t just do these things when starting out, do it in every part of business and you will be successful.

These three qualities—persistence, determination, and honesty—have shaped not just our company, but our approach to the work and the relationships we build in the real estate community.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

I would live each day as if it were my last. When you live with that mindset, life feels fuller and more intentional. It’s easy to get distracted and fall into the assumption that we have forever—but we don’t. We never know when our last day will come. I strive to live each day doing my best work, working hard, and honoring God in everything I do. In the end, it’s not about how many shoots we complete or how many markets we operate in—what truly matters is standing before a holy God, living in a way that glorifies Him, and being a light for Christ wherever we go.
