Meet Nathan Sanderlin

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nathan Sanderlin a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Nathan, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
From overcoming stepping stones along the way. In the past year 2022 I’ve lost 3 people that mean the most to me. Knowing I wanted to be an artist I was going to need to step out my comfort zones and network and make a connection with the people. My dad and mom also force a massive build of confidence in me. My mom is independent and my dad was a hustler so both of those combinations hinder my confidence and self esteem.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m a recording Artist, I think my love for music has grown tremendously over the years. I’ve always been a big fan of just music in general so I knew once i got a certain age and could learn on my own, my first time recording I fell in love. Losing my dad and my son in 2022 put a big pause on what i had planned. It was hard for me to stay focus with the lost of them 2 and couldn’t get my flow to keep working and writing music. Now that time past I’m back going hard for them and me knowing music is something else I do to stay positive and creative.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Staying Focus, self Development, being efficient. I feel like it takes skill to stay focus because it’s a million things that will hit you so Hard if you can’t stay focus enough to stay motivated and keep going you’ll lose love for the business fast. Everybody needs self development and it takes skill to build it over time when you learn and find yourself, that should be something your parents should start teaching at home. Overall being efficient is executing your business/ mission in the best performance and ability.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
Stay more consistent and manifest with the things I say im going to do. I tend to say I want to do things and never actually do anything to make it happen so over the time everything I said I wanted to do, I did it, and I did it exactly how I said I was going to.
