Meet Nathaniel Ellis

We recently connected with Nathaniel Ellis and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Nathaniel, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I found my purpose by looking into the deepest parts of myself and understanding what i needed to be successful. Finding that out led me help other heal through my art.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Well i am a self taught fashion designer and i constantly find myself in places where i learn more about life when i’m creating. I focus on the uniqueness of each pieces so that they tell a story everyone can relate to.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Discipline , rest , and patience were the most prominent things i needed to understand throughout my journey. I’d say know what you want out of what you do and build the discipline to stay focus and on track. Rest is always a big thing to prevent burnout. Last thing is patience during the process of evolution its easy to want to rush to greatness but that takes time.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

Currently i am battling being undervalued and overlooked but that just means its time to strategize and move towards where my work can be seen and respected.
