We were lucky to catch up with Natosha Rivera recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Natosha, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I found my purpose through my pain. I was, broken, mentally on tilt, spiritually depleted, and dealing with health challenges due to burnout.
2019 was my pivot year. I started taking back my power. I did a total purge of all nouns (people, places, and things) that weren’t serving me well and began my holistic journey to wholeness—body, mind, and soul. I went to therapy and did a lot of soul work to unwrap and heal from my trauma, from childhood to adulthood.
When I released the weight of the pain holding me down, I was able to lift myself up. Through my experiences, I’m now able to help women unapologetically redesign their lives and prioritize their health and well-being through faith, freedom, and fitness.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am the CEO/President of Natosha M. Rivera, LLC. I am a lifestyle strategist and certified holistic health and wellness coach, helping high-achieving women reclaim their time and implement breakthrough success habits that revitalize their mind, body, and spirit. As a certified life coach and gut health coach, and a passionate woman of faith, I lead both online and in my community with powerful conviction, spreading contagious joy and empowering women to live unapologetically.
With over 20 years of experience in education, I know what it takes to deliver knowledge that inspires change. I created the Holistically WELLthy Bootcamp, where I leverage my no-nonsense style of coaching to help clients develop their personalized health and wellness blueprint tailored to their lifestyle, teaching them how to set goals that inspire and elevate their lives.
As the founder of BeFree Society, a social media community of highly motivated women, I embrace the power of unapologetic living and lead women to crush their life and health goals daily. I’m also the mastermind behind the Girltude Collection, an apparel brand designed for the sassy, boss girl who loves God.
Originally from New Jersey, I now reside in Delaware. I’m a wife and mom, and I love spending time with my beautiful granddaughter.
This fall, my “Unapologetically No Workshop” will launch as a new online course at Delaware Technical Community College.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are authenticity, vulnerability, and faith.
My advice for those early in their journey is to give themselves permission to heal. Embrace these qualities—you deserve to be your unapologetically dope self.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
The most impactful thing my parents did for me was to reject me. The lessons I learned from that experience were life-changing. They helped shape my character and integrity as a woman, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and entrepreneur. Although it was incredibly painful, I am grateful for the rejection. The rejected place is where I gained my strength, resilience, and confidence. For whatever reason my story unfolded the way it did, I trust that God will get the glory from it, and He will use my life to bless and heal the heart of the next woman.
