Nayeli, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from my mom but also from the Drive of making my dreams come true. I’ve always wanted more for myself and I’ve always believed my dreams were worth making come true!

I am a singer songwriter from Stockbridge, Ga. I have been singing just about my whole life And I started in church. From there I fell in love with musical theater and eventually ended up making my own music. I make rnb/pop music with a flare for theatrics because that’s my bread and butter.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
My top 3 qualities are resilience, kindness and patience. I’m still working on my patience but I had to learn that my journey isn’t someone else’s. It’s easy to fall into envy and jealousy but I had to learn to clap for someone else in there winning season while I waited for mine to come. Resilience is huge as well because not everyone is going to like what you do or you as a person but you have to push through to find your audience!
Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
Definitely my mom. Even though my mother grew up traditional and wants me to have a back up plan, she still supports my dreams. She gives me encouragement when I’m down and advice sometimes unsolicited about events or my outfit choices lol. But all in all she’s my biggest fan and the first person I call for everything, whether big news or small!
