We were lucky to catch up with Nicole Kizlinski recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Nicole , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience comes from a mix of experiences that taught me to keep getting back up no matter what. Growing up playing softball, I refused to be the girl who let one bad play ruin the whole game for me. Then there’s my dad who taught me the importance of getting back up and pushing forward even when it’s tough and that’s something that has stayed with me. And my time in the Army strengthened that mindset far more than I imagined it could. I’ve been able to realize my brain is both my greatest asset and my biggest limitation, so I use it to my advantage and keep moving forward. It is a practice that’s become quite easy to me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Once a sound practitioner, now both a massage therapist and certified sound practitioner — this isn’t just what I do, it’s my life’s purpose. Stepping into this path has felt less like learning something new and more like remembering what I’m meant to do. Every session, sound bath, and person I connect with feels like part of that bigger calling.
Blending massage and sound together is pure magic. I’m endlessly fascinated by the body and how energy flows through it, and when these two worlds meet, it creates something so special — peace, relief, and that deep “ahh” feeling you didn’t even realize you were missing. I’ve seen real transformation happen through sound and touch. It’s about helping people reconnect with themselves and feel good from the inside out.
I host Friday Frequencies every Friday, my weekly beach sound baths that bring together community, nature, and pure high vibes. The sound of the waves mixed with the tones of the bowls is truly something special. I also hold monthly Full Moon Sound Baths on the beach, which are some of my favorite gatherings of the month. Both are donation-based events, open to anyone (including kiddos and furry friends) who feels called to join.
As winter rolls in, I’ll be moving everything into a cozy studio space, where I’ll keep offering both sound and massage sessions. My books are officially open, and I’m offering $10 off for new clients and referrals! I’ll also be rolling out some new packages and sound-massage journeys that blend the two for a next-level experience.
This is more than a career — it’s my passion, my purpose, and honestly, the most beautiful way I can share peace with the world.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, I’d say the three biggest things that shaped my journey are intuition, persistence, and self-trust.
Intuition has always been my main guide. That inner pull that guided me even when I wasn’t totally sure where it was taking me. Persistence kept me going through all the ups and downs. I started out hosting sound baths on the beach where maybe one or two people would show up, and now I sometimes have 30 or 40 people lying under the sky soaking it all in. What started as one small sound bath has now grown into a full business, with my own massage practice on top of it. It’s wild in the best way. And self-trust… that’s the biggest one. I’ve always believed in myself. I see the outcome before it happens and live as if it’s already real — and honestly, that’s been everything. I strongly believe you’ve got to believe in yourself to a delusional level. If you don’t fully back yourself, who will?
It’s also about following your intuition and taking risks. You’ve got to trust your gut — if it says jump, you jump. Every leap I’ve taken from that place of trust has brought me closer to where I’m meant to be.
For anyone early on in their journey, my advice is simple: trust yourself, take those chances, and believe in your vision like it’s already yours. You already have everything you need. You’re just remembering who you are and stepping into it fully.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
The book that’s had the biggest impact on me is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. What really stuck with me is how much it emphasizes following your own path and trusting the signs around you. It made me think differently about how I approach my goals. It’s not just about grinding toward an outcome, but paying attention to the little signals and opportunities that show up along the way.
A few of the biggest takeaways for me: one, when you really commit to something, the universe tends to open doors, you just have to be ready to walk through them. Two, your intuition is powerful; learning to actually listen to it has without fail, continued to lead me on the path I’m meant to be on, avoiding unnecessary obstacles, leading me to excellent opportunities, taking me on the right path. And three, the journey itself matters. Every step, even the setbacks, teaches you something you’ll need for the next thing.
For me, The Alchemist wasn’t about some idealized version of success. It was practical and inspiring at the same time. It reminded me to trust myself, trust the process, and keep moving forward even when the path isn’t necessarily clear.
