Meet Nicole Lier

We were lucky to catch up with Nicole Lier recently and have shared our conversation below.

Nicole , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
My self-confidence and esteem are still in development. I do my best every day to think as positively as I can and focus on the parts of me that make me the most happy. I was overweight and made fun of almost every single week in elementary and middle school, and those thoughts are something that never really go away. As I’ve worked on creating my brand I have been able to focus on the parts of me that make me happy and help other women to do the same. I am happy to report that I have slowly been able to improve my confidence and self-esteem over the years and I’m much happier.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am a 43-year-old happily married mother of four. I created my brand Nicole‘s Outfit Inspirations which focuses on affordable fashion that is easy to achieve, and along the way, I have helped many women improve their self-esteem and confidence, including my own!

I am currently entering a new phase of life which involves perimenopausal symptoms. These symptoms have affected certain parts of my body and my mental health, and I’m learning how to navigate all of this along with thousands of other women in my community who are experiencing the same.

I continue to show up every day on my platform and share with my community my daily life! I include the good, the bad, & everyday struggles and don’t hold back my feelings. As a community we can hopefully overcome struggles together, and dress confidently along the way.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three important qualities for me include: 1. Honesty 2. Kindess 3. Forgiveness

The above three qualities I’ve mentioned take time, but if you can start with yourself by being honest every day, and just show up and be the best you can be for THAT particular day, then you’re moving in the right direction.

Also, see if you can start your day by showing others kindness, for me it could be as simple as going on my platform and telling one of my other content creator friends how beautiful they look in a certain outfit, or wishing them a good day! Start small!

The last thing I mentioned above is forgiveness and this is very important and definitely takes the most time, but once you achieve this quality, it’s such a wonderful feeling. I’ve learned that if I can forgive myself for mistakes I’ve made, even if they’re just small mistakes, that sense of forgiveness allows me to move forward in my daily life with greater ease and less stress/anxiety. Again, start small, baby steps!!

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I love partnering with like-minded individuals or brands who share the same passion as me. I want to be able to share with my community affordable fashion & style that can be easily achieved, which also improves one’s confidence and self-esteem along the way! . If a brand would like to reach me my email is: [email protected]
