Meet Nicole Weisman

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nicole Weisman a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Nicole, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I loved scrolling Instagram and Pinterest and seeing all of these incredible outfits women were posting but it was hard never seeing anyone whose body looked like mine. And every time I went to purchase an item someone was sharing, it almost never came in my size which was of course disheartening. I felt like there was a void of midsize and plus size women in the fashion world and wanted to help fill it!

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I recently turned 35, a taurus through and through! Currently, I live in Dallas, TX with my husband, our daughter and our two GIANT dogs. Amazon shopping is my happy place. I consider myself a cupcake connoisseur and I love to read. Getting absoutely lost in a a book is one of my favorite things to do! Oh, and you can pretty much always find me with an iced coffee in hand.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Dedication – being successful on social media or in any field really requires a lot of dedication. I did content creation (while making NO money at it) for 2 full years, full time, while also working a full time job. At about the 2 year mark, I was able to rely solely on the income from social media and retire from my corporate job.

Creativity – being creative will always play a big role in what I do. Coming up with new ideas, concepts and executing them properly is key to growth.

Resilience – with success also comes occasional failure and that’s okay. What I’ve found to be key is really knowing how to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and try again. Failing is part of learning!

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
My biggest area of growth/improvement the last 12 months has been my dedication to creating and posting more Reels on Instagram. It has helped me to really push my creativity, my drive and grow my account to reach more incredible women.
