Meet Nicole Williams

We recently connected with Nicole Williams and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
Man, I’ve actually been asked this question alot lately…I found my purpose when I decided to take my passion and turn it into a business. I knew I didn’t want to just be able to do makeup, but to bring that beauty vibe to other ladies doing a job that I love and can pass that on to my daughter is the biggest blessing.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
My name is Nicole Williams and I am the owner of Ink3d B3auty by Nikki. I’m a Self-taught Makeup Artist residing in Southeast Houston. I specialize in full face glam for all occasions and have built clientele all over Houston. I started my journey around 2016, made it official in 2019, and have been able to watch it flourish over the years into the thriving business it is today. Recently been blessed to participate in business conferences and Im praying to reach higher goals and awards this year as a rising artist in the industry.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Practice makes room for improvement, and I lead by this whenever Im thinking of educating myself further in the industry. Your main focus should always be holding confidence in what you do, accepting your highs and lows, and knowing that you can always better your best!

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
My mom has been my inspiration since the beginning. Working hard and raising her kids as a single mother, but always humble and encouraging us to live our lives to the fullest. She was my very 1st practice models and still one of the faces of my business today. Because of her love and support, I get to pass on my skills and knowledge to my own daughter who wants to follow in my footsteps as an artist.
