Meet Nigel Metal

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Nigel Metal. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Nigel below.

Hi Nigel , great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.

from watching my mother, who went through many struggles. She never gave up on herself and taught me that anytime you you create an opportunity for yourself, that risk , is part of the game . However, if you believe in yourself and what you’re doing, than risk turns into antispatory excitement and fear melts away. Her favorite saying was ” I can , I will .

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I started my own production company, called, Nigel Metal Productions . l develop and create Radio shows which is very challenging because the shows have to have their own unique character . Also being in Radio I have had the opportunity to interview Artists and musicians and am able to provide an opportunity for them to have a platform to be seen and heard . That’s the exciting part of it all . Now my company is moving into Artists management and show production.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I used to play and write music in several different Bands helped me develop my creativity and learning how to really listen to other people’s ideas that want to help you enhance your creativity and working with others who want to be a part of what your doing. listening and learning new ways of developing your self and your skills will keep you challenged and excited to use new skills to what you want to do . A good mental work out develops a strong imagination and mind .

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

First , my parents, cause they never ran from a challenge, they would encourage me to love what I do by supporting me in my endeavors when I was young and to believe in myself .
Also my Radio mentor and partner in crime Dr. Kevin Thomas taught me editing tricks and my significant other , Susan, who is constantly trying to teach me organizational skills to stay on track and on schedule . Bill Stafford o 1370 AM Radio and Brian Silvis of Channel 98.9 Fm who taught me Radio business
