Hi NIKKI, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I received my work ethic from my granny, Inez McCant. She was always working whether it was in the yard, on a normal job or whatever. She did what was needed to feed her family.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
We make candied fruit, prepare meals, and make cocktail drinks. Here at Kultured Krack, our motto is “Get You One”. Once you taste ANYTHING that Kultured Krack offers, you will be coming back for more. When you experience that “KRUNCH”, it’s like you have never experienced this before. Basically, our customers always call back and say “ok I need to just place one more order.” I love to see the expression on our customers face when they taste our Kandied Fruit. As we get closer to the summer months, we are about to launch our version of the “Kandied Watermelon”. Our other company “Kultured Essentials” has been still selling heaux bags (specialty).
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1. Teamwork-We always work together as a team, so that we can get these orders out in a timely manner. 2. Professionalism- This is an absolute MUST with us. We wouldn’t have it any different. Our customers come 1st in everything that we do. Our goal is to make our customers happy. Even if that means to accommodate them or go out of our normal way just to make sure that the customer is happy and satisfied.
3. Detail oriented-We are very big on presentation. We make sure that not only is presentation 100%, we make sure that we go over every detail of your order. Just to ensure that we are on the same page and the customer gets exactly what they ordered and more.
The advice that I would like to give others is KEEP PUSHING, DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED. There is a lot of competition out here. And always keep in mind that you can always do it better. Give props where they are due. But always be mindful and stay focused on yourself.
Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
The challenge that I am facing is so many people are looking for hookups. People have to understand that we are running a real business. Yes, I show love to everybody. But when it comes to your business EVERYBODY IS THE SAME. Everybody has to follow the same rules. That includes family and friends. We have customers that are family or friends that don’t want to place orders like everybody else does. In order to ensure that orders are completed in a timely manner they have to abide by the rules like everyone else does.
