Meet Nil Erbil

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Nil Erbil. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Nil below.

Hi Nil, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
I would say optimism we are born with it. Starts from childhood with your dreams . Faith is the key word to connect with optimism . We all know we are not in this world forever . Born and knowing that one day we’re all going to die this is a simple example for all of us . We all have faith and that connect with optimism . When I have a bad day, I wait for following the morning for sun sunrise to see what the new day brings, new opening doors it’s a hope that keeps us all going. With my experience, keep your life simple, energy is how you inject to yourself and trust the earth’s strength and accepting bad and good, you learn and keep moving in better. Optimism grew in me more when I lost my both parents at an early age. I taught myself how to survive and be thankful for every moment of my life.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m an Interior Designer, my company StyleMood , born with a passion, I love what I do! My business started in New York, then the last 5 years, it has expanded to Miami, and Los Angeles, where I currently live. Born in Istanbul and study London /Lugano/Paris, kind of a world child. I love culture, and I’m always curious about others cultures and how they present themselves . Traveling is the key for me, my projects are my babies and next to my cocker spaniel Isabel. Each concept of mine has its own story, spirit, and lifestyle. Being a designer makes me happy, to create a space and give it a soul and to make that space timeless. I don’t believe in fashion, fashion is a trend to me on how you present, how you put together being creative on your own, bring something from old to new , BE ORIGINAL. Otherwise you will miss the spark of life. I always work with my passion and today I am still passionate after 17 years . I build my hard work with amazing opportunities, and people. Today, some of my clients are public figures, which was my dream to work with, I feel blessed. I want to keep running after my passion… Makeovers, designing houses, restaurants ,bars, and hotels. Also creating camps in Burning man and Sundance film festival .

My focus is now involve many other projects and have a great experience .

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Believe in your self, work Hard
Do for your best
Be humble

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
There is not really ideal Client . But I would wish sometimes they can let my talent shine and not try to be Designer.
