Meet Nina Podolska

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nina Podolska. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Nina, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

My resilience comes from growing up in Ukraine in the 90s — a time marked by instability, uncertainty, and constant change. Even though my early childhood was incredibly happy, living in a place where nothing was predictable taught me early how to adapt, think fast, and create my own sense of stability. That environment fueled my drive, ambition, and the belief that I could build something bigger than my circumstances.
I also owe so much to my parents, who were both entrepreneurial in their own ways. My mom has always been the ultimate hustler — creative, resourceful, and able to transform any situation with her imagination and determination. My dad brought the people skills and technical talent that helped me become confident, capable, and unafraid to tackle any challenge. Together, they shaped my work ethic and my ability to navigate complex, high-pressure environments.
Those early lessons are what helped me find my footing in Hollywood — a world that rewards resilience, reinvention, and the courage to keep going. For me, resilience isn’t just about enduring; it’s about using every setback and challenge as an opportunity to evolve.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I originally left Ukraine as a teenager to model in Paris, and that experience opened the door to my true passion: acting. It’s what brought me to the United States — and ultimately into producing, entrepreneurship, and the creative world I live in today.
Now, with over fifteen years in Hollywood, I work as a film producer, actress, and creative strategist. I’ve produced features with major talent, collaborated with Oscar-winning directors, and built a reputation for connecting the right people, ideas, and opportunities across entertainment, tech, and business.
What excites me most is that my work sits at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and transformation. Whether I’m developing films, acting, consulting for founders, or advising creative entrepreneurs, my intention is always to help people align with their highest potential — connecting them to the right ideas, partners, and opportunities so their vision can grow in a meaningful way.
Alongside my work in film and acting, I’ve expanded into consulting and business development — supporting companies, artists, and visionaries as they grow their brands, launch new projects, and align their ideas with the right partners. My coaching and consulting practice blends strategy with spirituality, meditation, and wellbeing. I help individuals and businesses strengthen their clarity, refine their identity, access their creativity, and step into a more aligned, empowered version of themselves.
Right now, my focus is twofold:
• Producing new film and media projects, including international collaborations and next-generation storytelling platforms.
• Expanding my consulting and coaching work, where I support founders, creatives, and entrepreneurs through a strategic yet intuitive approach.
Across everything I do, my brand is rooted in transformation, elegance, and possibility.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

For me, the three qualities that made the biggest difference were adaptability, emotional intelligence, and relationship-building.
Growing up in post-Soviet Ukraine, moving to Paris as a teen, and navigating Hollywood all taught me how to adapt quickly and stay open to new paths. Acting and producing strengthened my emotional intelligence — understanding people, reading energy, and leading with clarity. And truly, everything meaningful in my career has come from relationships: staying connected, being genuine, and aligning the right people with the right opportunities.
My advice:
Put yourself in new environments, invest in your inner growth, and nurture your network with intention. These three things can change your entire trajectory.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

I would live even more intentionally than I already do. I would savor every moment, every sunrise, every conversation, every little piece of beauty that life offers. I wouldn’t waste a second on regret, comparison, or replaying the past. Instead, I would pour my energy into sharing everything I’ve learned — my experiences, my healing, my wisdom — with as many people as possible.
I would try to inspire, support, and uplift everyone I cross paths with. At the end of the day, there are no real obstacles to being kind. Nothing stops you from smiling instead of reacting, from answering with love, from offering a warm word or a small act of care to a friend or a stranger. Those are the moments that truly matter.
And I would travel endlessly. I would explore the world, connect with people everywhere in the most human, joyful, curious, and loving way. My last decade would be filled with meaning, connection, laughter, growth, and the kind of presence that turns an ordinary day into something unforgettable.
