Meet Noelia Freile

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Noelia Freile a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Noelia , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

Thank you guys for the invitation to share, in my opinion having an optimistic/grateful outlook has always improved a bad situation.

In conjunction with the trust and support of my loved ones, and the acceptance of the things I can’t control, are key for the constant development of resilience.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Since childhood I found unmeasurable joy making the realms of the imaginary and the real connect, I started with cathartic rituals, and watercolors to later on fall in love with drawing, painting and performance.

When I arrived to North America I focused on tattooing, there is something very special about the nature of tattoos.
I recently started my journey in South Florida, I’m still working towards my dreams, it’s vital to continue education and submerge yourself in multicultural scenarios, almost as important as to be committed to enjoy and learn from the ups and downs of the experience.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Pay close attention to the principles of composition in Art, because after all “The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.”

Also, in order to create a certain level of destruction is required, don’t let that intimidate you from exploring and creating.

My last advice is to align your thoughts, your emotions with your actions, then focus on creating from a place of wholeness.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
I turn my phone off, and I go to the beach.
Forest bathing is a great option as well.
What really matters is to go back to nature.
Stay safe and healthy!
