We recently connected with Nora Stefanescu and have shared our conversation below.
Nora, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
We all have gifts to share with the world. Ideally, through what we are the most good at is how we serve. I’ve always known that I had a mission on this planet, that I came in with a purpose. It’s been there for me since childhood. I didn’t know exactly then how it would look like or what the purpose was, but the drive was there because the idea of purpose was present. In this life we go through many transformations and the expansion of who we are happens through allowing our selves to express ourselves fully. As a hypnotherapist, I am now at my fourth “career”. I’m not sure that I like the word “career”. I’d say creation is what I feel more aligned with. We are who we create ourselves to be. So when eight years ago, I embarked on this journey as a hypnotherapist, all I knew was that I wanted to help people heal, break through limiting beliefs, break the bad habits, break through fears, heal childhood traumas and help them self-actualize. I do that with hypnosis and coaching. The purpose is the driving force but the being of me is shifting in the purpose and so the target of creation keeps moving as I look to have a greater reach and help more people. The foundation of my purpose is anchored in Mother Earth, because we are all Nature, we are of the Earth, even if we call ourselves star seeds or cosmic beings of this Universe, we were all born here and so we are one with the Earth.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
As a hypnotherapist I take people on healing and new creation journeys into their subconscious mind. Most of us are not energetically tuned to be coherent, in a balanced state of mind and body. We have ancestral encoding that is interfering, creating holes in our energetic field and light-sound body. It takes intentional practice to create and maintain a state of coherence in this 3-dimensional holographic reality. You could say that coherence is escapism from the 3D matrix. Play with higher brain frequency waves. So if you want to experience greater realms of consciousness all you do is practice transcendental self-hypnosis.
With its powers and accessibility, you can transcend your limiting beliefs with hypnosis, rewire your neuro-circuitry and neuro-physiology and reshape your thoughts and perspectives, illuminating a path to greater understanding, authenticity, self-awareness, and sovereignty. Fostering curiosity about ourselves is what allows us to continue to expand and learn. Curiosity in discovering who we are leads us to our teachers and to our answers.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Discipline, Consistency and Action, these qualities don’t come natural to us, they need to be intentionally applied but when applied they are the foundation of creating anything durable. They are the backbone of any successful business and lifestyle. Impactful learned practices are meditation, mindful breathing and yoga. My advice would be to start where you are and take messy action toward your goal. With action comes confidence as you allow yourself to experiment with what brings you joy and inspires you in life.
As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
One book that played an important role in my development is “Breaking the habit of being yourself” by Dr Joe Dispenza. In this book Dr. Joe combines neuroscience, brain chemistry, biology, and quantum physics to explore how one can use these disciplines to transform their life. Here are some of the most impactful insights and concepts from the book:
1. Power of Thought: Dr. Joe emphasizes that thoughts can change one’s reality. Consistent, positive thinking can physically rewire the brain and body, leading to significant life changes.
2. Meditation and Visualization techniques help you envision and embody a new self. These practices are central to influencing one’s personal reality by making internal changes that reflect externally.
3. Quantum Physics: He introduces the concept of quantum physics as it relates to human behavior and potential. Understanding and applying principles from quantum physics can empower individuals to break free from habitual patterns and create a desired future.
4. Breaking the Habit Loop: A key focus is on breaking free from the cycle of repetitive thoughts and actions. Habitual thinking and behavior reinforce the same life experiences. Breaking these patterns can lead to new possibilities.
5. The Role of the Subconscious: Most of our behavior and decision-making is driven by the subconscious mind, which operates from past conditioning. Awareness and conscious intervention are necessary to change these ingrained patterns.
6. Creating a New Self: Dr. Joe provides strategies for detaching from past identities and creating a new self. This involves overcoming past traumas, re-evaluating self-limiting beliefs, and taking steps to embody the characteristics of the person one wishes to become.
7. Emotional Reconditioning is essential for changing one’s state of being. By experiencing and then releasing old emotions, one can make room for creating new, positive experiences.
8. The Placebo Effect: The mind influences the body. Understanding that the belief in treatment can lead to physical changes suggests that belief in change can also produce real change.
9. Being Greater than Your Environment: Dr. Joe stresses the importance of not letting your external environment dictate your internal state but rather rise above their present circumstances to create a desired reality.
10. Consistency and commitment in applying these principles. Lasting change requires sustained effort and disciplined application of the techniques discussed.
