Meet Noriko Yasui

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Noriko Yasui. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Noriko with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

My work ethic comes from my journey as an immigrant woman of color. Moving to the U.S. as an international student from Japan at 18 and earning a degree from San Francisco State University was a huge accomplishment, but it also came with many challenges. I often felt insecure due to language and cultural differences, and after graduating, working as a legal assistant only heightened those feelings. However, those struggles pushed me to work harder and prove to myself that I could overcome any obstacle.

Living in the San Francisco Bay Area has been incredibly motivating. I see so many immigrants succeeding in all kinds of fields, from IT to restaurants, and that inspires me every day. I feel grateful and fortunate to be surrounded by such talented and hardworking people, which constantly encourage me to grow and improve.

I have been working as a real estate agent for little over 7 years helping people buy sell and invest in properties. I bring that same drive and resilience to my work. Real estate is a highly competitive and money-driven business, but for me, it is all about trust and relationships. I see myself as a warrior, always protecting my clients and looking out for their best interests. Buying and selling a home is one of the biggest investments in their lives, and I never take the responsibility lightly. I treat every client the way I want to be treated, ensuring they receive the highest level of care, guidance, and dedication.

All of these experiences have shaped my work ethic, pushing me to be resilient, dedicated, and always striving for excellence. I believe success comes from perseverance, integrity, and treating people with respect. No matter how competitive the real estate industry is, I stay committed to working hard, protecting my client’s best interests, and always giving my best effort. My journey has taught me that with the right mindset and determination, anything is possible, and that’s the philosophy I bring to my work every day.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a real estate agent specializing in both residential and commercial properties. What excites me most about my work is the opportunity to help people navigate one of the biggest investments of their lives—whether it’s finding their dream home, selling a property, or securing the right commercial space for their business. Real estate is not just about transactions for me; it’s about trust, relationships, and truly understanding my clients’ needs. I see myself as a warrior, always protecting my clients and looking out for their best interests.

What makes my approach special is my dedication to treating every client the way I want to be treated. I take the time to listen, educate, and guide them through the process, ensuring they feel confident in their decisions. The real estate industry is highly competitive and money-driven, but I believe that integrity, perseverance, and genuine care make all the difference.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
