Nova, we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?
For me, self care is such a crucial part of my life. After all, we need to put our best selves out in the world, especially if we seek to help others. Self care is something that provides me with the richest sense of love. It’s about nurturing yourself, especially on the hard days. As far as my self care, it all starts with skincare! I’m a big believer in prevention versus counteracting, so using the right face washes, and developing my own skin care line has made drastic differences in both the appearance of my skin, as well as my confidence to head out into the world.
Sometimes, self care also looks like keeping up with my mental health as well. So, going to therapy, taking medications, preventative check ups with doctors. It’s not just about the outside after all. We also have to nurture our insides!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
My 3 biggest takeaways would be my ability in networking with others, communication skills and overall professionalism.
Networking is probably the trickiest of the three, especially if you are unsure on where to start. Sometimes, the best networking is just speaking out loud what your goal is to others, you never know who they may know after all.
Communication is a life long universal skill right? So this has fundamentally always aided me in my ability to also network. With proper, and often direct communication with others, it allows you to have the opportunity to be clear and concise in what everyone is looking for in whatever the situation may be. It is also very beneficial when there are moments of maybe confusion, or not understanding tasks, or even to find out that what you were doing was not working, and allows you to find outside perspectives on potentially where or what to do next.
With professionalism, I find that, outside of basic manners, it is something that is only really grown through trial and error when it comes to whatever field you are working in. During my decade as a makeup artist, prior to working as a psychic medium, and being in such intimate space of others, truly gave me the skills to handle a wide variety of situations in a way younger me would’ve not known how to.
What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
I was very fortunate to be raised in a home where I was allowed to express myself both through my emotions, and my physical image. I’ve been coloring my hair neon for over 2 decades, and have a rocking mom who let me get my first tattoo and piercings early on in my life. That option to be myself truly let me blossom into the person I am today. A fun loving, caring, and passionate person who wants to see others get the space they deserve too!
