Meet Nubian Traxx

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nubian Traxx a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Nubian , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

In all of my coaching sessions – I often describe finding one’s purpose, by encouraging you to reflect on your childhood pursuits.

As children – we are specifically drawn to the very outlets, spaces, and theme’s, that foreshadow our purpose. These pursuits A.K.A your passions – often times than not, will travel with you through to adulthood. Whether that be singing, culinary arts or philanthropy work – recognizing your passions for what they are, is the first key to understanding your potential and unlocking your success as an individual.

When I mention success – I’m speaking on that of internal fulfillment. As adults – when we hear the word “success” we are often quick to associate that word with material wealth and external gratification. Real success I find – comes from living through your purpose. It comes from using your natural gifts to restore harmony within the community, and balance to our planet. Any material or external benefit received, is what I find to be the cherry on top.

“When you are good at something, you’ll tell others. When you are great at something, others will tell you. – Walter Payton”

It wasn’t until I developed within my career as an artist – that I fully grasped the impact of sharing my gifts. Through introspection, I see how every experience has led me to fully walking and living through my purpose. Witnessing the heartfelt gratitude, and uplifting that my gifts bring to the community – has aided me in pinpointing my actual life’s purpose.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

After years of confirmation and personal development – I’m now an established artist, seeking my Masters degree in Music and Musical Therapy.

Most know me best for my work as a successful DJ, and Music Producer. It is my current focus to continue as an Instructor – teaching our youth the importance and fundamentals of creating high vibrational music. Offering a healthy, creative platform that will aid this community for years to come.

Stay tuned for updates regarding my newest ‘School of Rock’ program, which will be launching this upcoming fall of 2024.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

As I speak for the Music and Entertainment Industry – Adaptability is the most important skill you can carry in your bag of resources.

As you dive into the backend of
production management, you will find that drastic and immediate changes can occur at any given time. Primarily on the technical front.

Often times, you will be improvising and “faking it until you make it” – as you are juggling how to resolve something for the very first time. Remain humble, and never fear asking an Event Lead, or Director for guidance throughout the process.

Adaptability must become your foundation.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

At this time – I’m looking to collaborate with folks who have a shared focus in teaching, and child development.

As I’m looking to launch my ‘School of Rock’ program in the coming months – my aim is to continue fostering my network in support of my growing foundation.
