We were lucky to catch up with Odinani recently and have shared our conversation below.
Odinani, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.
Because I learned at an early age that most of us don’t truly see how talented or beautiful we really are. That awareness helped me realize imposter syndrome isn’t a personal flaw, it’s something so many of us quietly carry.
It’s still a daily practice. I move through it by choosing to create anyway, to show up anyway, even on the days it feels uncomfortable. Over time, I’ve learned to trust my voice more than my doubts, and to treat confidence as something I build through action rather than something I wait to feel.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m a music artist creating electronic, dance forward music rooted in emotional expression. My motto is “feel everything, dance anyway,” and that really guides everything I make. I’m not just creating songs, I’m creating spaces where people can process, release, and connect through movement.
What feels most special about my work is that it lives at the intersection of vulnerability and energy. My sound invites you to feel deeply while also moving your body and celebrating being alive at the same time. That duality is something I think a lot of people are craving right now.
I’m currently touring across North America, performing my original music and building community in each city I visit. I’m also continuing to release new tracks and evolving my live show into something more immersive and high energy with every performance.
More than anything, my brand is about permission. Permission to take up space, to be seen, and to express yourself fully.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Self trust came first. There were so many moments where I didn’t have external validation, but I kept going because something in me said this matters. That voice gets stronger the more you listen to it. My advice is to act on your instincts before you feel ready. Clarity comes from movement, not waiting.
Consistency is what turns ideas into something real. Not perfection, not bursts of inspiration, but showing up again and again. Even on the days it feels small or unnoticed, it compounds. If you’re early on, focus less on big moments and more on building a rhythm you can sustain.
Emotional honesty is what makes the work connect. The more real I am in my music, the more it resonates with other people. That requires being willing to feel everything and not filter it down to what’s “acceptable.” For anyone starting out, don’t compare your voice to anyone else’s. The thing that makes you different is the whole point.
Keep going. Be yourself. Don’t compare.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Yes, I’m always open to collaboration. I’m especially excited to connect with DJs, music producers, visual artists, dancers, and event curators who care about creating immersive, high energy experiences rooted in real emotion.
Right now I’m in the middle of an 8 city North American tour, with my final stop in Los Angeles at Guitar Merchant on July 18th, and I’m looking to keep building community in each place I go. I love working with people who are intentional, expressive, and not afraid to feel deeply and create boldly.
If you’re someone who resonates with that and wants to collaborate, you can reach out to me on Instagram Odinani_Official. I’m always excited to connect with other artist ad music professionals and see what we can create together.
