Meet Okedeji Omótèsó

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Okedeji Omótèsó a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Okedeji , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
Taking breaks, talking to friends, exploring the works of other Creatives, enjoying nature.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three skills that have been most impactful in my journey are;

Learning how to communicate: I realise people tend to misunderstand things if there is no proper communication between both parties, often times than not it can lead to more issues.

Learning the art of building meaningful relationships: Relationships are everything and building the right relationships with people can go a long way in helping you grow in your journey as a person.

Lastly,

The ability to pause, breath and take in the moment in every situation.

These three things, are the core things that have stood out for me as a person

Well, being a photographer and media personnel.

I’m looking forward to collaborating with camera/gadget brands, event planners who are looking at improving the experience of their clients.

Also, I would really love to collaborate with fashion brands who are looking out for creative ways to tell their brand stories.
