Meet Olivia Arnold

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Olivia Arnold. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Olivia, thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.
I firmly believe that imposter syndrome is never entirely eradicated. At every stage, you will encounter moments that challenge your self-perception. For me, overcoming the levels of imposter syndrome meant embracing my God-given identity fully – as a coach, a leader, and a visionary who constructs brands. The demands of my life ultimately overpowered the challenges I faced, leaving me with no option but to fully step into my role.

The moment I recognized the value and the unique resonance of my voice, its importance to those connected with me, my business, and my ministry, I was able to diminish the power of imposter syndrome. This realization was like a light that scattered the darkness of self-doubt.

The more I put myself out there, the more I verbalized my thoughts, challenged myself, and stepped outside my comfort zone, even when it terrified me, the easier it became to combat the forces working against my self-belief. It’s crucial to develop a bold persona and, for me as a believer, acknowledge your identity in God, your inheritance, and the inherent authority you possess to overcome any obstacle. This realization gradually became the standard from which I live, and the image of myself as an imposter became less prominent.

As I continue to grow, I cultivate these understandings and habits to keep overcoming imposter syndrome. The journey may be ongoing, but it’s empowering to recognize our ability to combat this feeling.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’ve been actively involved in the entrepreneurial sphere for about a decade now, starting with brand and website development. This naturally evolved into coaching clients on business and creative confidence due to rising demand. This transition felt genuinely aligned with my innate inclination to encourage and find solutions for creative challenges within businesses.

My role has grown beyond merely developing brands. I now also ignite clients’ passions, helping them amplify their unique voice within their businesses and ministries. This process involves providing solutions, education, consulting, and coaching to those apprehensive about taking their first step or moving out of their comfort zones.

An integral part of my work involves helping women birth their brands and voices. I do this by providing creative confidence coaching, aiding in the development of shows, live or podcasts, offering styling tips, creative directing, and providing strategic advice. I’ve even assisted in publishing books, all in an effort to empower these individuals and allow their unique voices to be heard.

I’m fervently passionate about empowering individuals who’ve been overlooked or bullied into feeling inadequate. It’s been my most rewarding mission to guide these individuals to find and overcome barriers preventing them from leveraging their gifts and assignments. I take great joy in my role as a ‘Kingdom Igniter,’ encouraging people towards greater confidence and creativity.

Furthermore, I’ve delved into curriculum development and teaching on the subjects such a of marketing digital businesses, confidence to create, and igniting content, and utilizing artificial intelligence as a tool, not a source, to build their brands and aid their creative projects. This work has led me to an increasingly involved role in the realm of technology.

I also run a ministry called ‘A Bolder Woman,’ which aims at assisting women in areas of lifestyle confidence and equipping them to boldly step into their callings. I’m eager to extend my reach to corporate companies, advocating for emotional intelligence and confidence in the workplace, and emphasizing the importance of using one’s voice effectively.

Looking ahead, I plan to launch the Emerge and Create Academy, a resource-packed platform offering courses to guide faith-based business owners on building and developing their businesses, fostering confidence, and teaching them how to establish and maintain Kingdom businesses in the marketplace. Furthermore, I’m excited about exploring more creative ventures, particularly in film production and fashion.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three pivotal qualities that significantly influenced my journey are endurance, tenacity, and the capacity to create from my vision without formal training. These traits have been crucial, as my path has been fraught with challenges. The journey often felt like I was moving forward with weights on my legs and hands, pressing me to strive harder for what’s ahead, preparing me for even greater tasks.

Entrepreneurship wasn’t my initial choice; rather, it seemed to be a path orchestrated for me. However, everything I’ve endured and encountered on this journey has armed me with the wisdom needed to coach my clients. It has given me a deeper understanding of the creative mind, particularly multifaceted ones, and strategies to overcome associated challenges.

While I hold an associate’s degree in Web Development and Maintenance, a bachelor’s degree in Project Management, and an MBA in Marketing, none of these qualifications could have adequately prepared me for the work I do today. Especially in creative areas, I have a God-given ability to envision something and recreate it through design, translating my vision or imagination into reality. This innate talent has enabled me to attract many clients and forge countless relationships through my work.

For those early in their journey, I would offer the following advice: Be tenacious and seize opportunities. I made it a rule never to leave money on the table. This means, even if I didn’t initially know how to do something, I accepted the challenge, which led to new projects and creative endeavors. This approach allowed me to discover what I naturally excelled at, enjoyed, and areas where I was less enthusiastic. It helped me focus on tasks that I was equipped to handle, avoiding frustrations that come with operating outside your areas of strength.

Being a multifaceted creative, it’s important to explore different realms and options in the creative space. Remember, being good at many things doesn’t mean you should do everything. Challenge yourself, be patient, and allow yourself the opportunity to try new things. If something isn’t working, it’s perfectly okay to shift to something new.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Indeed, I am actively seeking opportunities to collaborate and partner with others. I am particularly drawn to those passionate about personal and professional development, creative problem solving, and business growth. Those who understand the significance of emotional intelligence and workplace confidence would be ideal collaborators, given my intention to integrate these skills into corporate environments.

As the host of a video podcast, “A Bolder Woman Speaks,” I’m always on the lookout for inspiring women ready to share their testimonies dealing with life, relationships, business, and ministry. Whether you have a compelling personal journey or insights that could help others navigate similar paths, your contribution could be immensely valuable.

In addition, I’m planning to launch the Emerge and Create Academy and am looking to explore creative ventures in the realm of film production. If you have experience in these areas or if you are a faith-based business owner interested in learning how to develop and sustain your enterprise, you could be an ideal collaborator for my future plans.

If you are multifaceted, tenacious, and willing to step out of your comfort zone, I am confident we could create something meaningful together. Especially if you are open to harnessing the potential of artificial intelligence as a tool for growth and bring a unique perspective to our collaborative efforts.

If these areas resonate with you and you’re interested in exploring potential collaboration, please feel free to reach out. I can be contacted via my website or through my email, both available in my contact information. I eagerly look forward to the potential of empowering each other on our respective journeys.
