Meet Olivia Schenkel

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Olivia Schenkel. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Olivia below.

Olivia, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

Finding My Purpose
1. Personal Journey & Practices
I discovered my purpose through a blend of reflective practices: journaling, reading inspiring books, and heartfelt conversations with friends and family. These tools helped me uncover my deeper values, emotions, and aspirations.

2. Core Values & Mission
Over time, I realized that my purpose is to:

Spread kindness and cultivate safe, inclusive spaces for all.

Inspire environmental stewardship, encouraging others to protect and sustain our planet.

Ignite motivation and resilience, empowering individuals to pursue their dreams with determination and willpower.

3. Nature as the Ultimate Guide
I’ve found that nature plays a pivotal role in my journey. There’s a unique, calming energy in the natural world—in forests, rivers, or quiet parks—that clears my mind and reconnects me to my soul’s purpose. In these tranquil settings, I experience clarity, calm, and a deep sense of belonging that guides me toward my true path.

4. Continuous Growth & Expression
My sense of purpose isn’t static—it’s something I live and cultivate every day. By continuing to journal, learn, and talk with loved ones, I stay grounded, intentional, and aligned with my mission to uplift others and care for our shared world.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

About Me — Olivia Schenkel
Past: A Lifelong Entrepreneur
I’ve been an entrepreneur practically my whole life—starting a temporary jewelry business at just nine years old sparked a passion for creativity and enterprise.

Present: The Evolution to Solivina
At twenty, I founded and managed All In Fit, an activewear brand that has shaped me personally and professionally over the past five years. Now, at twenty-five, I’ve made the bold decision to retire All In Fit and rebrand into Solivina Store—a sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle brand.

Solivina: Meaning & Mission
The name Solivina merges “Soli,” inspired by the sun and inner mindfulness, with “Vina,” symbolizing life and beauty.
At Solivina, our mission is simple but powerful: to redefine everyday comfort through athleisure that flows with your lifestyle—from movement to stillness. We design timeless, versatile pieces that blend sustainability, functionality, and ease. Using eco-conscious materials and ethical practices, we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact while empowering people to feel and be their best—without compromising the planet or their comfort.

Follow along our journey on Instagram @solivina.store and stay tuned for the product launch!

Future: What’s Next
We’re excited to officially launch our first Solivina products in early 2026—and we’d love for you to join us on this journey of creating beautiful, sustainable lifestyle essentials.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

1. Resilience & Adaptability
Why it matters:
Resilience helps entrepreneurs weather setbacks and failures, while adaptability enables you to pivot when conditions change. These traits are repeatedly cited by entrepreneurs everywhere as key to long-term success.

How to develop it:

Reframe failures as learning experiences and reflect on what could be done differently next time.

Stay alert to industry trends and be ready to pivot your strategies swiftly.

Build a supportive network—friends, mentors, peers—to share failures, insights, and encouragement.

2. Continuous Learning & Growth Mindset
Why it matters:
Adopting a growth mindset—believing skills can be developed—and continually learning positions you to stay ahead of change. Many successful entrepreneurs’ credit lifelong learning and curiosity for keeping them relevant.

How to develop it:

Regularly read books, take online courses or attend workshops to expand your knowledge.

Seek feedback on your work to identify blind spots and areas to improve.

Engage with communities—professional groups, masterminds, online forums—to explore fresh ideas and insights.

3. Communication & Relationship-Building
Why it matters:
Strong communication fosters effective collaboration, leadership, and storytelling—essential for pitching ideas, inspiring others, and fostering trust. Emotional intelligence further deepens team and client connections.

How to develop it:

Practice public speaking or pitch regularly to build clarity, presence, and confidence.

Hone active listening and empathy—seek to understand others before you respond.

Grow your network intentionally—attend events, engage online, and nurture meaningful connections.

Bonus Tip from the Community
“Adaptability (rolling with the punches)… Effective Communication… Resilience (turning ‘No’ into motivation). Master these three… you’re building a mindset that’ll carry you through life.”

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

The person who’s been most instrumental in my journey is my boyfriend—an entrepreneur himself, running a fresh meal prep service. He’s been my unwavering pillar of support in both practical and emotional ways:

Endless Inspiration: Watching him launch and grow his business daily motivates me to reach higher, pushing me to become the best version of myself.

Unshakeable Support: He stands by me through every obstacle—even when times are tough, his belief in me never wavers. That connection runs deep, especially because he truly understands the demands and joys of entrepreneurship.

My Rock: In moments of doubt, it’s his steady presence and encouragement that give me the strength to keep going.
