Meet Omowunmi Elebute

We were lucky to catch up with Omowunmi Elebute recently and have shared our conversation below.

Omowunmi, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

There was a time in my life when everything looked good on the outside the job, the achievements, the routine but inside, I felt a quiet emptiness. Like I was existing, but not truly living.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Thank you for this space to share my journey.

I’m the founder of BIWE, which stands for Be Inspired With Wunmi Elebute a purpose-driven brand that includes a magazine (Inspiration and Success), transformational events, and a digital platform that brings all of it together. At its core, BIWE is about mindset, empowerment, and redefining success for this new age.

Through Inspiration and Success Magazine, we share real stories of people rising, overcoming, and building purposeful lives. But the brand goes beyond pages we host BIWE Circle, a live experience designed to create connection, clarity, and transformation in real time. We’re also launching the BIWE App, a space where people can access affirmations, books, audio stories, and join a community that inspires daily growth.

What excites me most is the impact. BIWE isn’t just media it’s movement. Every article, event, or affirmation is designed to remind people of their power, their voice, and their potential. We’re expanding globally from print to lounges and cruise ships, and digitally through our app and this is just the beginning.

My focus now is growth, partnership, and staying rooted in the vision: helping people be inspired, rise higher, and live fulfilled.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

1. Resilience

There were moments I honestly wanted to give up moments where things didn’t go as planned, people didn’t show up, or I questioned everything. But something in me refused to quit. Resilience gave me the courage to keep going, even when it was hard.

If you’re just starting out: Don’t be afraid of the tough seasons. They will build you. Allow yourself to feel, but don’t let those feelings stop you. You’re stronger than you think.

2. Having a Clear Vision

I didn’t always know how things would come together, but I knew why I was doing it. That “why” kept me grounded when the path felt messy. Whether it was the magazine, the events, or the app — I always had the end goal in mind: to inspire people and shift mindsets.

My advice? Get clear on your purpose, even if it’s just a sentence. That clarity becomes your anchor when life starts to feel overwhelming.

3. Being Flexible

Whew things changed so many times. I started with a talk show, then moved to print, then added digital tools, then expanded countries. The ability to adapt without losing my essence is what kept me moving forward.

So here’s the truth: The plan might change, but your purpose won’t. Be open. Adjust when needed. Let the journey teach you things your vision didn’t see coming.

Honestly, I’m still learning. But if I could say one thing to anyone starting out, it’s this: don’t wait to feel ready. Start. Learn. Keep showing up. The rest will meet you on the way.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

Two books that deeply shaped my mindset and personal growth are “This Thing Called You” by Ernest Holmes and “Feeling is the Secret” by Neville Goddard. These books didn’t just inspire me they activated something within me. They reminded me that I’m not here to chase approval or wait for opportunities. I’m here to co-create, to embody, and to feel my way into the life I desire.

From This Thing Called You:

Ernest Holmes helped me understand that I’m a divine idea that I’m connected to something greater.

“You are a divine idea in the mind of God.”
That quote made me walk differently. It reminded me that I’m not small, lost, or trying to find my way I am the way. That belief is at the heart of everything I do through BIWE whether I’m hosting an event, sharing a message, or creating space for others to rise.

From Feeling is the Secret:

Neville Goddard taught me that it’s not just what we say it’s how we feel.

“Feeling is the secret to creation.”
I started aligning with what I wanted by feeling it first I imagined the lives touched by the magazine, the faces in the room at BIWE Circle, the global expansion I dreamed of… and then I anchored that feeling in the now. That’s how I manifest not by forcing, but by embodying.

How I Apply It:

These principles are part of my daily rhythm. I journal, visualize, speak life, and return to stillness often. At BIWE, we weave these truths into our affirmations, our app, and even our events because I believe everyone deserves to feel empowered and connected to their own divine path.

These books didn’t just help me grow they helped me remember who I am.
