Os, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
Growing up I always felt this pressure to be perfect at everything. No matter how big or small, everything felt like a game where getting good was a drug. In reality I never thought I was naturally good at anything which lead me to believe that my worth was only in my skillsets that I’ve developed through my hard work. Although now I’m learning to work on my self esteem, I know that my obsession with chasing perfection is what drew me towards like minded individuals of all different backgrounds. Their influence on me is what allowed me to channel my hard work into more creative mediums. My community holds the flames of inspiration that fuel my determination.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a music producer who chases truth and honesty in genres such as R&B and Hip hop. I Just recently executive produced Kaien Cruz’s Album. Kaien is a super star, this music is a beautiful reflection of our creativity and joy. If you wanna dance, fall in love, travel to Atlantis, give it a spin. This is just the beginning, we have plenty more on the way.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I try to stay inspired and be honest to myself about what I truly love. Whether it was Star Wars, Michael Jackson, Queen, I always stayed true to myself. I focus on human emotions and how art makes people feel. I try to create things that my inner child would love.
What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?
Mental health and self care have been my focus for this year.
