Meet Othniel Horvath

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Othniel Horvath. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Othniel below.

Othniel, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?

For me, telling stories and touching people’s hearts through that is everything. I believe in the power of sharing and that’s the reason why I make movies.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a film director and indie film maker. I have started my journey when I was twelve and I made my first short film, called Car Race, which won an award. Ever since I’ve been making films, telling stories and working in the industry. For me filmmaking is the only place where I truly live and can express myself.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I’d pick communication and networking. For me, meeting new people, stepping out from my comfort zone and reaching out, that changed everything.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

As I mentioned earlier, I’m constantly looking for new opportunities to work on films, to meet new creative people and extend my network, so meeting anyone who’s also interested in these is number one goal for me. If you’re also in love with films and filmmaking and would like to reach out, please do not hesitate to do so!
