Meet Pamela Smith

We were lucky to catch up with Pamela Smith recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Pamela , thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

My optimism in life comes from the Man upstairs, the Lord Jesus Christ. I’m a PK (preachers kid) and was raised in the church, and in the passage it states “You can say to this mountain, move from here to there and it will move.”. So with me knowing and having faith as small as a mustard seed, nothing is impossible.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I elevate the vibes of any event by creating art out of balloons with unique details and color. The exciting part about being a balloon artist is making unforgettable memories, one of a kind designs, and seeing the clients reaction.
We have new offerings available, Grab & Go Garlands and Helium Bundles. Our Grab & Go Garlands are budget friendly, pre-assembled and ready to hang, it includes a hanging kit and an instructional video. Pick up is available in Summerville, SC. Our Helium Bundles come in an array of options.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three most important qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge for me were Authenticity, Adaptability, and Continuous Learning.

My advice for those who are early in their journey is to be genuine and true to who you are, don’t be afraid to collaborate with similar businesses, and keep an open mind for learning new skills.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

Characteristics that would make someone an ideal client for me are 1.) They genuinely love my offerings 2.) They feel comfortable with the price point and require little to no convincing 3.) They are or will be repeat clients 4.) They share their enthusiasm with the people they know; word-of-mouth. Last but not least they communicate and provide feedback.
