Meet Pamm La’Vazquez

We were lucky to catch up with Pamm La’Vazquez recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Pamm, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
By knowing myself…..understanding things I like and dislike. talking to my inner soul and accepting all the things I was happy for and avoiding negative people. At the end, my work talks for me.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m a musician, lead guitar for a symphonic metal band called Maskeratt with more than 20 years of experience. Thru all these years it has been an awesome journey. I’ve been able to see myself developing my career in many ways and different levels. I’m the type of person who loves to share what I do with fans, friends and followers, and create positive mindset in every one of them.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Always trust your inner soul, do what makes you happy, be stubborn, patient and persistent.

Patience is very important and being persistent is the key to achieve all the goals you have in mind.

I had visualize the entire project, the places and people I wanted to reach. Basically you need to have the vision about your project as if it was already in other levels. I had to think ahead and had this picture in my mind on how I wanted the project to look and to sound like.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
Discrimination of being a female musician in an area where male musicians predominate. Playing Heavy metal is tabu also for many people, one of my missions is to create beautiful melodies mixed with heavy metal so it can be listened by all people and to spread the idea that we can all do what we love the most.
