Meet Paola

We recently connected with Paola and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Paola, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

It comes from the hope that even the worst moments of our lives are meant to pass

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I love doing my job because it allows me to embrace a new, unpredictable, exciting adventure everyday!
Any new movie and/or video project I work on is something totally unseen that I am helping to bring to life.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three qualities that I see as the most important in my filed of work are: empathy, resilience and courage.
The empathy to truly understand, on an emotional level, the people I work with.
The resilience to not quit when everything seems to go South.
The courage to stand for my ideas.

I don’t have any particular advice rather than cultivating those qualities even when it looks like the world is falling apart.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

I am thankful and grateful to my parents because they taught me the sense of responsibility and because they trusted me no matter how far from their point of view my professional choices were.
