Meet Pastor Chad E. Mitchell

We recently connected with Pastor Chad E. Mitchell and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Pastor Chad E., really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

I found my purpose in the Lord Jesus Christ. From as early as I can remember, I’ve walked in relationship with Him—and through every season of life, He has faithfully shaped, molded, and sustained me. I am truly blessed.

There was a time when I attempted to live life apart from the Lord. It brought no fulfillment and ultimately cost me dearly. Yet even in my wandering, His grace never let go. I came to understand that I could no longer run from the call that was on my life.

Today, my God-given purpose is clear: to win as many souls as possible for the Kingdom of God—through the preaching, teaching, and living demonstration of His Word, empowered by the divine presence of the Holy Ghost. This is not only my assignment—it is my passion and daily pursuit.

Through prayer, diligent study of the Word, faithful participation in corporate worship, and a willingness to remain available for His service, I discovered my true calling: Pastoral ministry and evangelism. It is in this calling that I find fulfillment, joy, and a sense of eternal purpose.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

1. Spiritual Discernment
I believe I continue to demonstrate keen sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. His ability to rightly divide the Word of Truth and speak prophetically into situations—often confirming what God has already been stirring in my heart—has deeply impacted my spiritual growth and clarity of calling.

2. Leadership & Mentorship
I believe I continue to demonstrate leadership with both strength and integrity. I know how to challenge, equip, and empower others to rise into their God-given assignments. My mentorship has helped others navigate seasons of uncertainty with purpose and conviction.

3. Passion for Evangelism
I believe my relentless heart for souls is contagious. Whether in the pulpit or the parking lot, my mission to expand the Kingdom through love, truth, and bold outreach has inspired others to make evangelism not just a ministry goal, but a lifestyle.

Through these qualities, I don’t just lead a church—I contribute by the grace of God, to raise up Kingdom leaders. I’m blessed to even be considered by the Lord in this way. For outside of him, I’m not worth a hill of beans as my late Pastor, Tyson W. Patton Jr. would say when I was under his covering🙏🏽

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

Let me be clear about this. I would continue doing exactly what I’m doing now. Why? Because Jesus is coming back—and He’s coming soon. We are living in the final hours of the last days. Scripture reminds us:

“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.”
— 2 Timothy 3:1 (ESV)

At any moment, the Lord will command the archangel to sound the trumpet—and when that moment comes, it’s over.

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.”
— 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 (ESV)

The dead in Christ will rise first, and those of us who are alive and whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be caught up to meet the Lord.

“But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”
— Revelation 21:27 (ESV)

Jesus will then usher us into heaven, where we will behold the face of God—the Father, YAHWEH.

“They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.”
— Revelation 22:4 (ESV)

I don’t have time to play with the gift of life. I carry a divine responsibility—
to the gospel of Jesus Christ,
to the people who have received it,
and to those who have yet to receive it.

“Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!”
— 1 Corinthians 9:16 (ESV)

“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season.”
— 2 Timothy 4:2 (ESV)

This is not a game. This is a call. And until He returns, I will stay faithful to it as the Holy Spirit enables me too.
