We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Pat Pulgar. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Pat below.
Hi Pat, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
I believe that the optimist is made, not born. He personally has worked a lot on this aspect of my life. I went through gray episodes and decided, thanks to the support of my loved ones, fill my life with color!
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I like to work with my hands. My creative process begins with nature, space, the sky. I like to touch different textures and create striking compositions that arouse happy and fun feelings. I try to create moments of fun with colors. Whether it’s putting a vinyl that brightens your wall and your day or some original earrings that highlight your light. The light, responsible for the colors, is very important in the entire creative process of MemphisPat
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Simple, do things that make you happy… don’t work thinking it’s an obligation, enjoy your day… it seems like a cliché, but we really won’t take anything with us other than the little moments we have of pleasure and fun. Get your day! and fill it with colors!
As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
Well, my work is inspired by Memphis Milano art, so I deeply adore all the work of the designers of this wonderful group of little artists. His books, catalogs and works are my inspiration, my philosophy.
