We recently connected with Patience Kaysee Saydee and have shared our conversation below.
Patience Kaysee, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My work ethic comes from my goals of financial independence. I enjoy the freedom to set my own schedule, prices and processes. Financial independence means that I can decide to work from 7am-12am in any given day or take a week off to travel, rest and spend time with my husband and children. It means doing things my way because I am ultimately responsible for my successes and failures. Lastly, it means building wealth and knowledge that my children can also build upon.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Consistency. Knowledge. Judgment. Being consistent in my work product, marketing and advertising, and follow-up with clients has grown my business. With the law changing consistently, its vital that I have the necessary knowledge and continue learning to best serve my clients. Lastly, having sound judgement in what cases to pursue and how to handle those cases has been essential to my success.
How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?
Time management is my latest conquest. I am working on a work-life balance between my business, professional development, family, social life, and self-care. I’m learning how to manage and handle all of those things at the same time and still do them well. What helps me is having a set schedule. I schedule everything on my calendar so that I do not forget and have enough time to prepare and avoid surprises or missing important events.
