Perry, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I don’t think there was one single “lightbulb” moment when I found my purpose—it was more like a series of lessons that kept pointing me in the same direction. Growing up, I was always taught to value people first. My family put a big emphasis on relationships, and that’s stuck with me. Whether it was school, sports, or my first jobs, I naturally gravitated toward connecting with people, listening, and finding common ground. Over time, I realized that building those bonds wasn’t just something I enjoyed—it was the foundation for how I wanted to approach life and business.
I’ve also been fortunate to have mentors who pushed me to think bigger. Some gave me practical advice about consistency, strategy, and follow-through, and others taught me about resilience—about not letting setbacks define you, but instead using them as fuel to grow. I carry those lessons into everything I do with CrowdBoost.
When the pandemic hit, it really crystallized my purpose. I saw how quickly businesses could be left behind without the right strategy, and I knew I wanted to help. Marketing, to me, isn’t just ads or campaigns—it’s storytelling, it’s understanding someone’s vision and helping them share it in a way that truly connects. The relationships my team and I build with clients go far beyond business transactions; we become part of their team, their community, and I take pride in that. Our clients feel like family to us, and we celebrate their wins just as much as our own. Their growth becomes our growth, and that shared journey is what makes the work so meaningful.
At the end of the day, my purpose is to make a real impact: to give back, to build authentic connections, and to help businesses not only survive but thrive. That passion is what makes CrowdBoost more than just a service—it’s a movement focused on real results and long-term relationships.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Marketing is what I was put on this Earth to do. What excites me most about running a full scale marketing firm is that it’s never the same day twice—each client has a unique story, and my role is to help bring that story to life in a way that resonates with their audience and drives real growth.
What I love about what I do is the mix of creativity and strategy. It’s about understanding people, crafting messages that truly connect, and then seeing the results play out in the real world. With the time I’ve been able to free up by empowering my team and delegating effectively, I’ve been able to focus more on development and exploring innovative approaches, including the use of AI in marketing. I’m genuinely excited about the future of marketing—there are so many new tools and technologies that allow us to reach audiences in smarter, more creative ways than ever before.
A big part of our approach is building community and fostering connections. I host monthly networking mixers that bring professionals together, creating spaces where ideas are exchanged, relationships are formed, and businesses can grow through collaboration. These events, along with other networking initiatives, are one of my favorite ways to help businesses thrive while strengthening our local and national connections.
For anyone looking at what CrowdBoost does, I want them to know that we care deeply about the people behind the businesses we work with. It’s not just marketing—it’s about impact, innovation, community, and helping others succeed in a way that’s sustainable and real.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I’d say strategic thinking, adaptability, and communication were the most impactful in my journey. Being able to step back and see the bigger picture while adjusting when circumstances change has been critical. And strong communication—both listening and clearly expressing ideas—has allowed me to build trust and inspire others.
For folks starting out, my advice would be to practice thinking ahead without getting stuck in rigid plans, embrace change as part of growth, and work on connecting with people in meaningful ways. Skills like these are learned over time, and real progress comes from reflection and real-world practice.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?
In the last 12 months, my biggest area of growth has been learning to take a more balanced and strategic approach—both personally and professionally. On a personal level, I’ve prioritized my health and fitness more than I ever have, and that’s given me the energy and clarity to lead at an even higher level.
Professionally, I’ve widened our net when it comes to client acquisition, which has taken us beyond our local community and into projects on a much broader, even nationwide scale. That expanded reach has allowed us to connect with businesses from different industries and regions, giving CrowdBoost a wider perspective and a stronger impact. I’ve also grown in how I manage my team—delegating more effectively, putting people in the right positions to succeed, and trusting them to take ownership. It’s been incredible to see them rise to the occasion.
Networking has also been a huge focus. I was already incredibly active, but in the past year I’ve tripled the amount of outreach and engagement I’ve done. Those connections not only strengthen CrowdBoost, but also allow me to give back more to the business community by sharing knowledge and creating opportunities for collaboration.
Overall, I feel like I’m making smarter, long-term decisions—for myself, for my family, for my team, and for the businesses we serve. That’s the growth I’m most proud of.
