Meet Peter Guzman

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Peter Guzman. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Peter, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

I developed my confidence and self-esteem from my father. He was my hero and he hugged me and never let me go. I truly believe that his complete love for me, set the tone for believing I could do anything I put my mind to. This was the foundation for my success in life.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

His work has been recognized nationally by all of the major Real Estate Organizations and he has been recognized as the Top Producer for the entire company in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, with over $700 million in sales.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Work ethic, listening and willing to learn…My best advice is to listen more and speak less…all the answers are in the listening!

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

My father hugged me and never let go! That impact is the kind that keeps going.
