We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Pickle N’ Tequila a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Pickle N’ Tequila, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
Our team consists of 3 key players: Camille (founder), myself (photography & OC lead), and Erik (head of operations). Pickle N’ Tequila has always been a creative outlet for us.
It’s important to continue evolving, which includes experimenting with new ideas and seeing what sticks. Mixing consistent brand pillars with unexpected twists, such as themed events, quirky collabs, or seasonal remixes.
To stay inspired long-term, use sensory storytelling during events (playlists, cocktails, and merch that bring your brand to life) and collaborate across disciplines to keep new energy flowing. Above all, stay true to your brand’s essence: pickleball, good company, and a little tequila-fueled joy.
Speaking of connections, Erik proposed to Camille earlier this year, I’ll have to talk to HR about that. 😉

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Pickle N’ Tequila started pretty simply: a few friends, some pickleball paddles, and the idea that being active should also be fun. What began as casual games and post-match gatherings has grown into this amazing community of people who love to move, laugh, and connect.
At its heart, Pickle N’ Tequila is all about balance. Staying active, enjoying life, and not taking yourself too seriously. We believe wellness doesn’t have to mean restriction or perfection; it can mean showing up, sweating a little, and celebrating life (sometimes with a margarita in hand!).
What’s been most exciting is watching how it has grown. We’ve been expanding what we do, adding more wellness events, retreats, and collaborations with local brands that align with our values. It’s been so fun to explore new ways to bring people together, on and off the court.
If you’re curious, come join us! You can find us on Instagram @PickleNTequila to see what’s coming up next, whether that’s a game of live ball, a fitness + cold plunge event, or something new we’re dreaming up.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, three things have made the biggest impact on our journey with Pickle N’ Tequila: community building, consistency, and creativity.
1. Community Building:
From the very beginning, Pickle N’ Tequila has been about people connecting through play, wellness, and shared energy. Building a genuine community takes time and intention. My advice: show up consistently, listen, and make people feel seen. The more you pour into authentic relationships, the more naturally your community will grow.
2. Consistency:
It’s not about doing everything perfectly, it’s about showing up even when it’s hard. Whether it’s organizing events, managing social media, or just getting out on the court, momentum comes from small, steady effort. Start by setting routines that feel sustainable, not overwhelming.
3. Creativity:
Pickle N’ Tequila was born from the idea that health and fun don’t have to live in separate worlds. Leaning into creativity helped us build something unique. My advice: experiment boldly. Try new formats, visuals, and experiences, even if they’re unconventional. That’s often where the magic happens.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Absolutely! Pickle N’ Tequila thrives on community and collaboration. We’re always looking to partner with like-minded individuals and companies who share our passion for health, wellness, and connection through play.
We’d love to collaborate with:
1. Wellness brands that align with our mission of balance, movement, and mindful living.
2. Local businesses: from restaurants and fitness studios to lifestyle boutiques interested in co-hosting events or offering member perks.
3. Content creators and coaches who inspire others to live well and have fun doing it.
