Hi Picnic ‘n’, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
Ultimately, the pandemic sparked the birth of Picnic ‘n’ Charm. As we came out of lockdown, we sensed a need to offer pleasant experiences in scenic or specially selected spaces. We wanted to provide that opportunity in a creative, stylized, distinctive way that clients will delight in. Our optimism also comes from each other. Our team is made up of three women with a similar sense of style, impressive decor expertise, and a shared approach to delivering a quality experience. The opportunity to share the highs and lows, and lift each other throughout this journey keeps us excited and optimistic through it all.

Picnic ‘n’ Charm (PNC), we are a luxury pop-up picnic brand that will provide a charming picnic experience in your location of choice in the Southbay. PNC was started in 2020 as a black-owned business run by three women, we provide diverse perspectives and expertise that will truly create a distinguishable picnic.
We strive to create a serene and unique experience by incorporating specially curated items from food to florals in picturesque settings. We love utilizing our distinct skills to create a different look and approach to the picnic experience.
Whether you are looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply have a relaxing day, we will foster an experience that provides a classic and fresh approach to your picnic.
We are excited to announce that we have expanded our business to include providing decorative services for small gatherings and event spaces! To launch our new services, we are now offering 20% off of all bookings in February 2024. We cannot wait to continue to provide charming picnic experiences while now also providing special touches to help others celebrate special moments in their lives.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
As we reflected on our journey, the important qualities that have been the most impactful for us are perseverance, ambition, and optimism. Starting your own business is very exciting but is coupled with various challenges as well. Anyone looking to start their own business we say GO FOR IT! Just remember the challenges are there to make you stronger and ultimately highlight areas of growth for your business. It may feel overwhelming at times so reminding yourself of your “why” is a great way to ground yourself back into your purpose. Your goals may shift but standing on your values and the purpose of the business will help you stay optimistic.

Life is stressful enough, and we are here to take the guesswork out of planning your next perfect event! We love the client who comes prepared with the vision for their event and allows us to handle the rest. Someone who has an appreciation for our unique and specially curated setups, and truly enjoys the charm and beauty we put into each design. It brings us joy to see the faces of our clients when they are pleasantly surprised as they walk up or enter into their transformed space!
