Meet Pimptress

We were lucky to catch up with Pimptress recently and have shared our conversation below.

Pimptress, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?

I know what it’s like to have nothing at all. I didn’t always have the things I have now. I didn’t always have the knowledge either. Im not a gate keeper. I will always give free game as well but to the right people of course! Im a big fan of charities and giving back.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Well, im mainly known for my music as an artist! Im still focused on music wholeheartedly but I’ve recently found something new that im also good at n thats a “Foodie Content Creator” I started out filming my food at all the places I like to eat and then from there I started getting booked by restaurants and now getting calls from big corporate companies. I am now a whole brand! Not just music. Its a great feeling. Who wouldn’t want to get paid to eat all your favorite foods at your favorite restaurants! At the same time im still releasing new music!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I would say learning that everyone around you can’t be apart of your success! You can’t take certain people certain places. As hard and difficult as it may be I had to learn that sometimes it’s best I go do this or whatever on my own. I would tell anyone on the same path that. I would also say to remain focused- tunnel vision. The minute you lose focus could be a missed opportunity. Remain consistent.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?

Alot of artist don’t realize how much hard work it takes & how much money it takes to invest. Everything cost and there’s no way around it. I would say being an independent artist. Investing my own money is the hardest challenge for me. I believe that’s a major part of whats holding me back from becoming a bigger artist. I dont have thousands of dollars to spend
