We were lucky to catch up with Pinky Da Don recently and have shared our conversation below.

Pinky Da Don, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?

I keep moving regardless because I know what’s for me will always be for me. There is nothing anyone can do to stop what is for me even though they are going to try to stop it. Despite people not supporting, lying on me in hopes of making themselves look better, shady business, envy and hate I stand firm on the ground and I keep going.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a lady of very many hats. I have my own Management company called Don Dada Ent. I also own a natural soap shop titled The Butterfly Trap. I have a Mic Drop platform titled Cap Back Flow that is located in Dallas, Texas. It is centered around artists wearing a fly hat of any style while showing their artistry. I am also Texas Fleet Djs State Manager. PR for Mogul State Of Mind and A&R for Real Lyfe Street Starz. I am a Promoter, Artist manager, Social Media Manager, Social Media Coach. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Leadership because it has always been in me. Starting with being in pageants as a toddler and up and I was always in a leadership position in every school club I was in and I was my senior class president. Second, I’d say computer skills because it has allowed me not to have to source out for certain things and has taken me a long way and I have been able to monetize that skill. Lastly, strength. I’m glad I was raised to be strong minded and not easily swayed.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Yes it has always been collaboration over competition for me so I would love to collaborate if it makes sense. Any Brands such as Makeup, Hair, Nails, Clothing boutiques, Estheticians, Smoke Shops, Recording Studios, etc. I am also open to TikTok and skit collaborations.
