Meet Power

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Power. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Power, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

I have to admit that building confidence and self-esteem is a journey that takes time and patience, but it’s definitely doable with the right approach. Here are a few of my strategies that could help:

1. Positive Self-Talk
One of the most immediate ways to boost confidence is by changing your internal dialogue. Challenge negative thoughts about yourself and replace them with positive affirmations. Over time, this can shift your mindset and help you believe in your worth.

2. Set and Achieve Small Goals
Start by setting achievable goals, whether they’re personal or professional. Successfully meeting small goals builds a sense of accomplishment, which contributes to greater self-worth. When you hit those milestones, celebrate your wins!

3. Embrace Failure as Learning
Confidence isn’t about being perfect; it’s about knowing that you can bounce back from setbacks. Embrace failures as learning opportunities rather than signs of inadequacy. The more you face challenges head-on, the more resilient you become.

4. Practice Self-Care
Taking care of your physical health, getting enough sleep, eating well, and exercising all contribute to better mental health. Feeling good physically can improve your mood and self-image, which in turn boosts confidence.

5. Surround Yourself with Supportive People
The people you interact with play a huge role in how you view yourself. Spend time with those who uplift and support you, rather than those who tear you down. It’s important to have genuine people around who believe in you, and want to see you grow to your highest potential. IF YOU DON’T HAVE A SUPPORT SYSTEM DON’T BE AFRAID TO STAND ALONE.

6. Focus on Strengths
Reflect on what you’re good at. Whether it’s a hobby, a skill, or a personal quality, focusing on your strengths rather than your weaknesses can give you the confidence to take on challenges.

7. Get Out of Your Comfort Zone
Confidence grows when you push yourself beyond your usual limits. Start by trying new things or putting yourself in unfamiliar situations, even if they feel a little intimidating at first. Each new experience builds confidence.

8. Practice Mindfulness
Being present in the moment can help reduce self-criticism and anxiety. Mindfulness practices like meditation or deep breathing exercises can help you tune into your emotions and cultivate a more balanced, positive self-image.

9. Dress the Part
The way you dress and carry yourself can influence how you feel about yourself. Wearing clothes that make you feel good can have an immediate boost on your confidence.

10. Seek Feedback
Constructive feedback from people you trust can help you identify areas for growth and reinforce your strengths. It’s important to be open to criticism but also to recognize the value in positive feedback.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

It’s extremely important to have a strong sense of self before stepping into position that requires leadership. Having strong communicational skills as well as developing a mindset for creative thinking is important. Life in general is about growth which ultimately determines how good you become at mastering your goals. As you learn your personal strengths and witnesses your own unique skills will develop naturally and this is where you become unstoppable in any career pursuit. Authenticity also key and shouldn’t be feared, It’s your SUPERPOWER.

The downside of not having a strong sense of self is potentially reaching your goals, and having no moral compass and or lack of healthy boundaries to continue to thrive. I share a term with my mentee’s as well as my artists “Master Your Pressure”
and this will set you free.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

Ideal clients are individuals or businesses that perfectly match what my company offers, value my services, and contributes to my success. My ideal client would also share common characteristics, like loyalty, respect, and sharing goals and values. Most importantly great communication skills with the ability to be mature every aspect. A mature business partner believes that you need access to the information that will enable you to be a strategic partner for them, thinking ahead, identifying ways to add additional value, and participating as if you are an owner with them in the results produced as if you are part of their team. They want and need for you to have information and to use it for their benefit.
