Meet Prince Nurse

We were lucky to catch up with Prince Nurse recently and have shared our conversation below.

Prince, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?

My optimism really stems from every problem that I’ve encountered in my life until this point and figured out solutions to overcome them. I guess what I’m saying is, I’ve know that there are problems, I’m aware they exist, but don’t solutions exist too?

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am the sole leader of a musical wellness organization, that simply looks to develop the overall “inner child” of every participant serviced. by way of engaging, fun, and unknowingly very healing actives, that aid in bringing thoughts, dreams and aspirations to the forefront from the sub conscious!!!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

One of the biggest “skills” and I only put it in quotes, because I throughly believe everyone can do this, but LISTENING, oh my Lordy, do you know how far ahead you’d get if you just took the time out to LISTEN to someone?! It works wonders and also assists me in how to better assist my participants. Being transparent, I am thoroughly urging all my participants to be transparent, a skill that takes a lot of work and grace, to be transparent, is to not only be vulnerable with others, but with yourself as well. Lastly, I’ll say a skill that has gotten me far throughout this journey is…….HUMOR!! Learn to laugh a little, but more importantly, learn to laugh at yourself, specifically through the tough times.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

Transitioning from my current living space to a new one, last we did these interviews, I was roughly living in a location with no electricity, for a little over half a year, we are now rounding one year, why is this pivotal? The work that I do, requires me to not only be able to give 10000% on a guidance level, but also that times 10 when it comes to the editing of media work, and that in itself can be very draining when I have to put myself on a “time table” to create, when essentially, creating should be limitless, not feeling rushed nor like you HAVE to perfect something by a certain time, but yet, having it completed at the right time. With no electricity it has been tough, however, like I stated previously, humor gets me through it.
