Princess, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

Honestly, God is my strength in all things. I’ve had several challenges since I graduated high school but if there’s one thing my parents taught me, it’s to always remember that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” My parents have also been a huge source of support for me, as well as my siblings. I’d say my resilience comes from knowing I am never truly alone. I mean, to be fair, I’m Nigerian – it’s TOUGH to be alone (even if you want to be haha).

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

At the moment, I’m focused on entrepreneurship. I’m building out my social media career here in Austin, Texas, while maintaining brand relationships in other states because my dream is to never be restricted by location. I have some thrilling collaborations coming up for the holiday season that I truly can’t wait to share with my audience!

Social media has been a wild but beautiful adventure. I’ve connected with the loveliest creators, built lasting brand relationships, and had the incredible opportunity to attend events with META and other fantastic businesses. The constant dynamic landscape literally keeps me on my toes! I never would have thought that an introvert like me would find joy in this work, but it’s the people who make it worthwhile. I feel blessed.

For businesses seeking my services, I offer various packages. As a special promotion for October through December, I’m waiving perpetual rights for any packages booked. As you know, influencer usage fees typically range from 1 to 3 times the base rate. This waiver is exclusive to Austin-based businesses.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I’d say the skill that has helped me the most is written communication. I would encourage new creators to learn how to craft emails, not just outreach emails but response emails as well. Understanding how to use tone to your advantage will take you far. For instance, a brand may send you a lowball offer because you don’t have too many followers. However, if you’ve been consistently creating quality content and genuinely understand your worth, you can craft an email that says, ‘In case you missed it, this is my worth, and I will accept nothing less.’

Secondly, the sun and a neat background can take you where all the money in the world may not. I wish I had understood this fundamental part of content creation when starting off. The creativity is within you, but people will pause if shown a bright and crisp video until you woo them with your personality or knowledge. Then, they may not care as much. Don’t stress if you’re not financially able to get fun filming gadgets. Just the sun and a tidy background will take you far. Additionally, if you’re not completely against AI, there are AI backgrounds that can help if you cannot control how your background looks.

Lastly, patience! It’s easy to see people blow up overnight and start asking yourself what you’re doing wrong. That’s not typical; you just happened to come across outliers. For most, growth takes time, care, and patience. Don’t give up! You will get there.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I’ve done some fun creator collaborations this year and I am always looking for more! I am a nano-creator in the beauty, skincare, and wellness space. I also occasionally share anime and creative tech content.
